Too Young?
Hi, I`m 15, and am turning 16 in about a month. I`vr known my boyfriend since I was about 13, and we "dated." It didn`t work out because our parents didn`t think we were right together, and we basically forced apart. This summer, I spotted him working at a restaurant, and developed feelings for him again. I called him later that week, and we went to a movie. We`ve been together for 6 1/2 months. We feel like we are completely right for each other! I know I`m a bit young to be considering this, but we have seriously talked about getting married after we are out of High School, and in College (which we are going to the same one, because I`m graduating a year early). We both have the same views on how to raise kids (which we dont plan on even THINKING about having children until we`re both financially and emotionally ready for it. I don`t think either of us could handle a baby now!), where we want to live, how we want to live, money issues, jobs, education, etc. I know that we could work, and that even though we are a bit young (he`ll be turning seventeen 8 days after I turn 16), I believe we are thinking about this maturely, and would be ready for the commitment after we graduate. I`d like some people`s advice about what to expect if we do decide to get married, and some of your experiences with young marriage. I`d really appreciate it! Thanks! *smiles*
