What about silver?

I think black/white weddings are very elegant, the only color I would incorporate is red roses. I attended a family member`s wedding last year, bridesmaids wore black and carried red roses, groomsmen wore black with red boutineres. Mother of bride wore white (very elegant) crepe gown with white sequin jacket/Grooms mother wore black with black sequin jacket (they wore different styles) and both had red roses attached to their hand carried purses. Centerpieces were made of white baby breaths and red silk roses/it was just elegant.

I am getting married this year too. My bridesmaids are wearing black. A great color that goes nicely is purple. I am having the girls carry really deep purple colored flowers. Just an idea.....

My BM or wearing black as well and I am using a variety of bright color flowers from light blue to orange. White would be beautiful and simplicy at it best. I would not; however, use red as another color as that has been was overdone!
