Elope In New Orleans

Hi, not sure what side of the river you are on but there is place I think in Gretna called Gretna Green (based on a story form long time ago in england) it was so people could get married with out parental consent, but this one you would have to. Also on valentines day they have chaples that you can go in and get married. Anyway I think that is all I know.

I live near Gretna, LA and I have not heard of Gretna Green (only in England); however, there are several places in the French Quarter in New Orleans that will be glad to set up everything for you. Masion Dupuy, Louis XVI, Chateau LeMoyne, Historics Inn and all can be found on the internet. There is also a chapel in New Orleans which specializes with people who are eloping (not sure what it is like) Good Luck!
