Ice Pond Ideas
My sister is getting married in Feb. 2006 and she is planning for a winter wonderland theme, mainly snowflakes, isciles, and snow. She wants the area around the cake table and maybe the DJ table to look like an ice pond. We are going to have snow drifts, etc. We can`t seem to find anything that will work for the look of an ice pond though. If you have an ideas that could help us out let me know. And if you know how to make big snow drifts without a lot of cost let me know that too. We are trying to get as many ideas as possible. Thanks!

I`m sure you`ve already thought of using a mirror...
But if you`re loking for a frosted look, you should be able to spray a matte finish on it. That way if won`t be a clear reflection. Think of when you`ve accidentally sprayed the bathroom mirror with hairspray :)
Good luck. And I have no idea of snowdrifts...never seen one sorry!

We had thought of a mirror but we want people to be able to walk on it as they get their cake. It will need to be some sort of paper or material that won`t tear easily but real enough looking. Thank you for the idea!

Hi you might be able to use plexyglass not sure on spelling of it You can have it tinted and frosted I would not be sure on price but I would think it would not be to expensive. It would even have a little thinkness to it to look like ice. Jennifer
