Period Question

Hate to bring this up.. But i definitely need some suggestions.. I am gettin married in April 2005.. As of now.. If my period stays regular, i will be getting it the week of my wedding.. PPPLEASE help me with suggestions as to if there is anything I can do to stop this. I cannot go on birth control because of the cancer gene that runs thru my family.. Any other suggestions or ways that i can fix this?????

Talk to your doctor about Seasonale, it`s the newest birth control pill, you only get 4 periods a year. Also talk to him/her about your family histor and the pill. A family history of cancer certainly does not mean that a woman can`t use the pill.

Well we had already had the discussion before.. I should not start the pill because of the cancer.. It has been linked.. So they say that if the gene is in your family.. That they do not like to start you on it.. So i dont know. But thanks, i will ask!

Without some kind of birth control, you may be destined to get your cycle, use tampons and wear a girdle under your gown. The only thing that may stop your cycle from coming on is the pill and I wouldn`t try depo as it may have a reverse effect and give you a month of bleeding so you may want to either move your wedding back or use the right type of pads/tampons for that.
