Cheap Maryland Wedding Date - My Old One :(

Everyone,
I`ve recently cancelled a wedding at Antrim 1844, and come to find out that the cancellation has occured at a really nasty time. According to the contract, I owe the full amount of my wedding since we are 3 months out.

If anyone is looking for a location for this date (March 19th 05) I would love to try to work something out to save you some cash and save myself some trouble to. I`m willing to pay for some of your wedding, so that I don`t have to pay for all of my wedding that isn`t going to happen.

Please if you know of anyone that needs a place for a wedding and a great deal on it, let me know. If you have any other suggestions on what I might be able to do to save some of this cost, please respond as well.

Thanks,
Josh Spickes

Find a lawyer to look over that contract. If he thinks it`s unenforceable, have him send a letter on his paractice`s letterhead to the vendor advising such. You might be able to get out of this with only the non-refundable deposit that you initially put down to reserve the date. The vendor might just be trying to scare you into paying with a contract that isn`t worth the paper it`s printed on.

Also, you might wanna try posting on the Baltimore section of craigslist.com. Lotsa prospective brides/grooms look at craigslist for wedding supplies/services.

Hope one of these ideas helps you out!
