"My Girl" - it`s something a little more upbeat and would be fun!

I already answered this on another thred, but here it is again. Check out the song "A Song For My Daughter". It is possibly the prettiest, most appropriate father/daughter dance song I have heard in a long time.

How about Daddy`s Hands by Holly Dunn or The Judds.

UltimateWedding.com has a large list of songs they suggest for the reception including father/daughter dances. For the same reason I do not want to use Butterfly Kisses. I am using "There you`ll be", by Faith Hill from the Pearl Harbor soundtrack. It is a beautiful song. Check out the website to see if you get any ideas. Good luck!

My father has a very young personality. So I may use "Forever Young". A few people have done it: Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Rod Stewart, and some others.

There is this song called "My Daddy...My First Love". It is the most beautiful song. By far, the best father/daughter song out there.

My dad loves music from his generation, "Into the Mistic" (Van Morrison) is a good one but think of what you both like and make it personal!!

I`m doing a song called Love Without End, Amen by Aaron Barker because ever since I was a little girl, my dad would sing it to me and now whever he thinks I may think he is being kind of a jerk or something because he`s overprotective, he lets me know how much he still cares even if he doesnt know how to show it sometimes by singing me that song. It still brings tears to my eyes. Here are the words for you.
