How Do I Start My Own Event Business?

You might try www.rightstyleplan.co.uk they have event planning, karaoke and other plans. I used the event planning one and it had tones of stuff. It was $29 but I had tried getting free stuff and it just was not right for me. Now I have fun and earn a bit as well!

Hi! I am trying to start my own event planning business too. I am lost as to where to start too. I am going to get my meeting planners certification first at a local college. What other things are you doing to start up? I am going to start small from home and gradually do larger events. I love event planning and am looking for a event planning job now to gain more experience. Any tips would be great!

I guess we all have the same idea. I too, would like to start my own business. I plan and decorate parties all of the time. I thought that maybe the best thing to do would be to work for a party planner to start and get my feet wet. I think that would probably be a good way to start learning the business.
