New! Ulla Maija Size 10 Silk Wedding Gown
This is an authentic Ulla Maija designer silk wedding dress. It is a heavy silk that just falls when you put it on. It is the most romantic and swanky dress I have ever felt! I fell in love with this gown from the moment I tried it on. I purchased it spur of the moment as a sample from a couture bridal store near Minneapolis. The retail of the gown was $3800.00 However, I had difficulty finding undergarments to support my chest without altering the line of the trim detail. I ended up finding a dress that was absolutely perfect for me and my wedding, so I have no need for this gown...although it is still hard to part with!
Every inch of this dress is done with precise attention to detail. It is cut on the bias so it is very comfortable to wear and not restricting. It has a small train that is not detachable. My favorite part (beside the material) is the back. There is a trim detail that edges the neckline and is carried around to the "tie" at the back. There is actually a hidden snap behind the neck so that when you wrap the straps over each other, they are secured. The ties fall to the lower back and look perfect under a long, thin veil. This dress is elegant without being overdone and ornate without being fussy. It is stunning and I know it will make someones wedding complete!
This dress is new and was never worn for a wedding. It does have some minor dirt / makeup marks on the interior lining from being tried on and the tags have been removed. There have been NO alterations done to this dress. I generally wear a size 8 clothes, 34D bra, and am 5`-10" tall. This dress would have only required minor alterations for me. Please feel free to contact me if you would like any additional information, photos, or to make an offer.

How many gowns did you buy for your wedding before you found "the one"? It looks like you are selling at least 3 gowns on this site that I can see. All size 10 with a little bit of make-up and dirt from trying on...Why not just be honest with the fact that you are selling samples, not a dress that you bought and then found another one...and another one...and another one. It is disrespectful to our intelligence that you wouldn`t think people would notice this scam!

I did not realize that posting a message would result in insults from people who do not know my situation and apparently have nothing better to do with their time then speculate. Yes, I have three dresses listed...and this is why. (You can stop reading if you really do not care) My currect mother-in-law is a seamstress, and I was planning on her making my dress. About the time we were starting to create the pattern, family situations arose that were beyond her control but consumed her time. I decided to help relieve some of her stress by purchasing a dress off the rack. That is why I purchased the Ulla Maija dress. I LOVE THIS dress, but purchased it in a hurry and without anyone with me. When I came home, I realized that I would not be able to alter it to a point that I felt comfortable. I spent the entire night in tears and the next day trying to find a solution. I even considered trying a "miracle" drug to reduce my breast size in a hurry so that the trim would not look like it was pulling at my chest. I was unsuccessful. The Pronovias gown was purchased from Ebay and was listed as new. I was in tears again after this purchase because the material was not what I expected. At this point, I was approximately one month away from the wedding, with no dress and a preoccupied mother-in-law / seamstress. The third dress was purchased for me from a local wedding shop, by my mother, as a joke. Although it was not what I was looking for, it is still a really nice dress that I hope will be perfect for someone. The dress that I actually ended up wearing came all the way from England. It was the only dress I had seen during the whole engagement that I had wanted to purchase rather than have made. My husband spent several days emailing and translating letters to wedding shops all around the world in an attempt to locate this dress. When it arrived, I had two weeks to go. So, posting the dresses for sale is an attempt to turn my misfortune into someone`s happiness. I guess I could have said that the dresses were "samples" but I still consider them new since they were never worn for a wedding and have not been altered in any way. I am sorry if you felt that I was insulting your intelligence because that was never my intent. If you are currently engaged, I hope you are able to shake off this negative front and enjoy the day and the whole experience.

Okay-I will somewhat apologize for my "negative front". That was not my intent...have you seen how many people there are scamming brides on this site alone? Virtually every 10th post is regarding these schemes. It sounds like you did have a lot of misfortune surrounding your wedding dress and I am sorry for that. I don`t consider your dresses "new" however. If they have been recycled through ebay, or are a store sample-they are not new. New is when they are ordered directly from the manufacturer and have only been tried on by one person (the bride who decides to sell the dress), not hundreds of people in a gown shop.
I guess I do have a jaded sense of wedding planning but it is because of so many dishonest people out there misrepresenting their products and services. I have already been scammed twice and don`t plan on it happening again, and will try to help others as well. I am sure that you were disappointed when you received your ebay dress-remember that feeling when you are representing what you sell so that someone else doesn`t go through the same disappointment. It`s such a shame that planning a wedding can cause so much stress and agonizing over details-and to have to worry about purchases being legit on top, it makes it worse.
