I posted a message a few months ago looking for a Maggie Sottero Olympia, a lady immediately contacted me and said she could get me this dress for $575 with free shoes and veil, the deal sounded so great so I was hooked. She gave me a toll free number (Which by the way you can’t trace to find the owner on a toll free number). After she asked for the money responses became few and far between, she always had an excuse for everything, one day that you talk to “her” her name was Melody, the next it was a different name but she had the excuse that was her partner or sister or whatever the excuse was that day. She gave me an address in Philadelphia, however once I suggested a friend of mine who lives near by come visit and check out the dress I haven’t heard from her since. I don’t know what this lady has going on for sure but we have found all sorts of complaints all over the internet about her, she changes her e-mail whenever a new complaint comes out so here is all the information I have about her and hopefully this can help anyone avoid a bad situation.

I suggest that every bride do research on their vendor first, check out the Better Business Bureau , check with state listing, see if they have a business license in their state (if not don`t order!) and search the internet. Be aware that some scammers change their name and information when too many people complain so they can keep scamming! Even if a “vendor” is registered with a website you should still check around, they may not always be legitimate. This stuff makes me so angry, I can’t believe that someone would take advantage of someone like this (I guess I’m just naive). Maybe I should just open my own bridal shop where scam WON”T be the name of the game!

Thanks for all the warnings to all the brides, but please know that us vendors that paid partypop on here are legitimate, so don`t associate the vendors to non paying vendors. This makes me upset that we are losing potential customers to scammers that don`t pay, and that now we are starting to get associated with these scammers, meaning people are posting here and warning people of vendors too. It is just not right because I know I am a vendor, a paid vendor and a legitimate vendor. I as a vendor paid to post messages here and to sell to brides. Yeah I understand you can be upset that scam artists are causing you to lose business, but my concern as a bride are those other brides that have been sucked in by a scam artist expecting this gown of their dreams on this special day that never shows up. And FYI when I called 101bridalgowns.com today to ask them about this lady they told me she used to be a vendor with them and they canceled her, so you will also notice in my warning that I state that not all of them may be legitimate and brides need to their research. This is not a personal message against you, it is to help anyone who may be in this situation like I am.

Has she ever gone by the name of Lynne? I ordered a dress from her, and have already paid for it. But, if all of your postings are true, then I would like to initiate something with my credit card company. Let me know please!!! So since you had a friend who could go by that address, what happened? Does the address exist...or is it a a vacant lot? Is it a storefront? You said you had a friend who lived nearby, but never said if the friend went to the place. Still, this is Melody of Everlasting Designs/Heavenly Accents, etc., at it again. Buyer beware: I`ve never heard of a reputable bridal shop offering free SHOES!!! Free veils (usually one tier ones), but not shoes. Thanks for posting the information. Yes, you can EVENTUALLY get money back if you use credits, but I would NEVER give my credit card number to a scam artist. No telling what they`ll do with the credit card number later or where the number could wind up.

My friend actually lives 6 hrs away but he was willing to drive there for me to check it out (I just had a bad feeling about her and hoped that would clear things up). However we never got that far, after I told her I had a friend in the area I haven`t heard from her since. I was still considering sending him to check it out anways just so I would know if there was even a store there. I`ll keep you posted if I do.

And FYI for anyone who wants to know, I spent my morning trying to find a bridal shop on Lehigh Ave. I called a resturant at 232 Lehigh Ave.(Which the address she gave me was 242 Lehigh Ave.) and they didn`t know of any bridal shop in the area, I also called a florist in the area, a Novelties store, and a dress shop and none of them knew of a bridal shop in that area.

I can`t believe this woman is still at it. I was scamed when she was "Melody" with "Heavenly Accents". I think the best advice is RESEARCH RESEARCH RESEARCH. I got taken it because I like many others fell in love with a dress I couldn`t afford. I would suggest not purchasing from ANYONE that you can`t find on the BBB. And for you sake use a credit card. That`s what PayPal is for, you can use your credit card and they won`t get the number. If you can`t get a response call the POLICE!! This woman has a records and it usually works to get your money back. That was what got mine back.

Yes, I called the state police in her state to see if all this was true, he told me he couldn`t directly tell me but that they do get alot of calls about her so that kinda answered my question. When she found out I had called the police she freaked, wanted to know who I had spoke to, and why I had called them. Watch out girls she will probably be changing her name and info soon since she got caught again!

I am glad to see that you brides are going after this person who took your money and ran. I own a full service bridal shop whre we sell both in our store and on the internet.
And yes our prices are lower thru the internet than in our store because 1) there are alot of people selling gowns on the intenet and 2) if you dont want the full service treatment, why pay for it.
But when a person like this scams people out of their hard earned money on one of their most important days of their lives is disgusting. I hope you catch this person and I hope the law locks her up and throws away the keys!!

Its so hard though because one person like her kinda makes it hard to trust anyone else. I can`t believe she has been doing this for so long and isn`t in jail. She even has kids in the background when she calls, how could you raise kids like that.

Hi! I am wondering if anyone can give me any information on Bridalelegnce@aol.com She says that she will make a replica of the dress I want, moneyback guarantee. It sounds so awesome, but a friend told me to do my research first. I noticed that one of the email addresses she gave me for a reference was the same as the email "N" says is a paypal address. Please help!

People, have you all not learned anything? This is what happens when you shop online.......You get scammed. Work with a full service bridal store, and you will not have these problems. Ma and pa shops are out for your good word and will never rip off their clients as you mean the world to them!

I would not order from her if I were you JP, she always has an excuse for everything, fine someone else or you may be sad! I called the state police in her state and they get alot of calls about her, and I have read all the messages about her ripping people off and them having to call the police to get a refund!

And let me guess what else she told you JP, I bet she said that all the bad postings on here were from another bridal shop or lady who had her mixed up, or she had a lawyer and was trying to get all of this taken care of, right? I heard it too! That is exactly what she told me, but come to find out it is from real people. "melody" tells too many lies, if you lead her enough she slips up on herself (She really is a poor scam artist). JP, if she were really giving you references she would have given you phone numbers not her paypal account! And if she does give you phone numbers keep in mind she "does business" on the internet so the phone numbers should be from all over the USA not just her local town. I have also heard she goes to the UPS stop and gets fake tracking numbers so watch out for that too.

Their # is 718-441-3306
I called this # more than 100 times and all I got was a voice mail.
I do not believe Eurosatic exists and it`s part of Melody`s lies.
She processed a full refund and a week later canceled it.
My credit card company is investigatin this issue and the attorney general will work on it.
The Attorney General office # is 301-7914-780
