I am Russian and I am getting married with an americal fella. He loves borsch, so he wants it served during the h`ouderves session! He things it will bring some russian flavour to the wedding. Also you could make a cake that looks like a russian church (like an onion...) .

I am half Bugarian, and, for your Russian wedding I would suggest a Russian love song to be played as you first dance selection. This too will bring some Russian tradion to your upcoming wedding.

I`m russian and I`ve attended a few russian and russian american weddings (as well as videotaped some). One of my bridess american husband likes to catch salmon and he had caviar from that salmon for appetizers, then his best men drunk champagne off the bride`s shoe. I`ve seen a glass crushed and many long toasts, email me i`ll be happy to elaborate.
