Unique So Calif Wedding Site??

We`re planning a small ceremony (max 30 people) and would like to find a unique So California location. We would like to rent the place for 2-3 hours, to hold the ceremony and a quick reception (only champage toast & cake cutting). As we`re paying for the wedding, we`d obviously like to keep it as inexpensive as possible. Any suggestions???

Try some beach front restaurants. Shanghi Reds in Marina del rey is very nice. Sportsman Lodge in Studio City have 2 outdoor wedding sites and several different size reception halls to choose from.

Santa Monica Pier or Hummington Beach Pier. Or the Hurtz Castle in Los Angeles.

Yes, I am also looking for a unique or beautiful place for wedding and reception for about 50-75 people in Los Angeles County....hopefully with a fountain or waterfall or ocean view, that is not soooo expensive, and also that you can hear the ceremony. Most I have looked at are veeeerrrryyy expensive.Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Wineries are also a good idea for small weddings. Depending on the time of the year you can get some really beautiful outdoor scenery

The Brazilian Room in Berkeley Tilden Park is beautiful. It holds about 120 but the nice thing is it is only about $1200 and you have a spectacular view of greenery and park!!

The Santa Anita Inn in Arcadia has 6 different locations to hold weddings. One is in front of a waterfall in the pool area, another in a rose garden, and yet another in a gazeebo at the top of the waterfall.

Descanso Gardens in Arcadia is great, my friend had a wedding there and I am considering it too. They just had a small one on the t.v. Show for better or worse, and it was done so elequantly, for a decent price

We`re looking at having a small reception in Cerritos, CA - the prices on the rooms run by the city (which are very nice, by the way) range anywhere from $13/hr (if you or someone you know is a resident of Cerritos) to $200+ an hour. Check them out on the web by doing a search for Cerritos, CA, and then clicking on either recreation for the park sites, the library for the skyline room, or performing arts for the sierra room at the performing arts center.
