Correct Usage Of Address To Widow Female Frie
What is the appropreate way to address a greeting card or other correspondence to a widowed female
Friend.

If their names were John & Jane Doe:
1) If he were alive, it`s "Mrs. John Doe" (his 1st name).
2) Once he dies, it`s "Mrs. Jane Doe" (her 1st name).
