What are the colors usually used in a September wedding?

Popular fall colors are sienna, espresso, cafe, champagne, claret, olive, and rum pink. You can even pick a color that is not considered a " fall color" and match it with a fall color. Burgundy and purples are also nice appropriate colors.

Hi,
I`m at the very beginning stage of planning my wedding. I just set my date for Aug 27, 05. I am interviewing planners as well as calling for venues...I will begin visiting the venues this weekend. I`ve been told that the word wedding increases the price on items. I had a friend 10 years ago who had her reception downtown Chicago....at the time I`m thinking I know she did not pay at the time $75 dollars per plate for over 350 people...she said her coordinator and her created her own menu and her price end up being in the $20`s per plate....well how do I go about this negotiating tatic....When I call to request info regarding a venue...I`ve been telling them that either I was calling regarding my grandparents aniversary party or a family reunion.

Many wedding professionals charge more money for weddings than for parties. Depending on who you are calling not identifying your event as a wedding should yield you lower quotes. Make sure you get all your quotes in writing. That way when you decide to meet with the professional and tell them the event is a wedding, they will honor their price. If they decide that they can not honor this price ask them why. If the same work is involved in the party as a wedding they should honor their price or you should go with another vendor.
Another advantage is the wedding planner should be able to negotiate with vendors you have already chosen and should have a file of vendors that will work with your budget. Since you are hiring a wedding planner, I would suggest including vendor negotiating in the agreement. She/He will know if the prices the vendor is charging is reasonable and be able to get you the best price. Also beware of the hidden charges like, non refundable deposits, damage deposits, overage fees. Your wedding planner should be able to advise you as to what to look for.
Finally don`t substitute a good price for quality and experience. I Sometimes see there is a tendency to shop around for the best price but you need to make sure the best price fits the best quality as well.
