I am looking for the matching tiara. Did you get it? Are you interested in selling it?

I was doing a search on my wedding dress (Cassini CV008) and your site came up. I just had a question I am having a heard time coordinating flowers and many other things with this dress because of all the colors in it. I fell in love with this dress the first time I put it on and knew this was going to be my wedding dress. Now I am having a hard time with it matching everything else. I want my bridesmaids in lilac. I was just hoping you would have some insight. What color did you use in your wedding and what did your flowers look like? If you could send me some pics or ideas it might help me out. I have the same gown! You definately made the right choice, it is amazing. You have so many options with the colors for flowers and the bridesmaids. What colors have you chosen-if any yet?

Yeah, it definitely was a wonderful choice. I chose a maroon/burgandy color. Probably the only dark color in the dress.

The lavender will be lovely. I was thinking of the same gown for all 4 bridesmaids, one green, one lavendar, one blue and one pink. I wish I was a size 6 but unfortunately my gown would be way too large for you. I am going to try to get the same color vests as gowns for each groomsman and Jim will wear an ivory vest. I am also having an Oct 07 wedding so my centerpeices will be in ivory pumpkins. I cant wait :-)

I got married in this dress last year. It`s gorgeous! We did a kind of silvery sky blue for the maid`s dresses. The men wore navy suits with silver blue ties to match. The maid`s flowers were this copper colored rose, can`t remember what it`s called, mixed with ivory roses, and hand tied with a gold and blue embroidered ribbon. The men`s bouts were the copper rose. My groom wore a navy suit with gold tie and ivory rose bout. I had him match me instead of the guys. My bouquet was mostly ivory with some pale pink ranunculus tucked in, tied with a mocha pink satin ribbon. Anyway, I think my dress is a size 4, I didn`t alter it at all except for the length (I`m 5`6.5" and wore it with 2.5" heels I think). I am planning to sell it. I got it cleaned and it`s still in the box. I need to take it out and check it`s condition. If anyone is interested in it, you can send me an email: cl_peterson@yahoo.com.

Oops, my dress is actually a size 6, not 4. I had forgotten which one I actually ordered. I got the size 6.

Wow, I had no idea how popular this dress was! I just bought it off the rack since it was discontinued a few months ago. I too have the matching tiara and think it`s beautiful. I was thinking of a rainbow wedding also, but I think I am having 7 bridesmaids, and I am having a difficult time pulling together 7 colors in my dress without it looking uncoordinated. Any thoughts?? I guess I would have a single color bouquet if I`m doing multicolor dresses. Or I thought of maybe alternating bridesmaids between pink and green (I thought the two main colors). Any advice is appreciated, and also any pictures!! I too envisioned the all-white dress, but I think this was the right decision.

I purchased the bridesmaid dresses that match - pink, lavendar and baby blue. I have them - never worn with tags, email if interested :) They looked great together! Unfortunately, never worn out of store!

Andrea--thank you for the offer, but I am having 7 bridesmaids, so I`d be a little short! Were these dresses made specifically for that dress?? I haven`t heard of that...

Jacqueline - no problem. I do have 6 dresses, if that helps any. I don`t know if they were made "for" the dress - but I purchased them together with the dress, they match the colors great! :) Let me know if interested.

I have the CV008 Gown with all matching accessories... I had three Bridesmaides in my July 06 Wedding , and they were wearing the matching maids dresses in Pink, Lav, & Lt Blue. The two flower girl had Ivory dresses with a green sash... It was beautiful! and my guests are still talking about it! after going back and forth about it, I am selling my sz 14 gown and the tiara and veil. Feel free to contact me if interested. I just tried on the Oleg Cassini dress CV008 tonight, but it`s too big. The size was 16W and I need a 14 regular!!! The bridal rep said the matching tiara and veil are stunning, but THEY are discontinued as well!! I searched on line and came to this website....I can`t believe how many people LOVE this dress. First of all --- each of you made a wonderful choice in this dress ... It is magnificent! And all the color choices for your attendants sound so lovely. My daughter has the CV008 Oleg Cassini dress but we are in need of the veil. Is anyone out there interested in selling the veil? My daughter has been through a lot of heartache over the last 3 years and she is on cloud 9 planning this wedding. After everything she has come through I want so badly for her to have the wedding of her dreams ... Starting with the "princess" dress and all the accessories. The wedding is June `07 and we`re running out of time to find a matching veil before we have to give up the gown for alterations. We won`t get it back for 8 weeks or so, and we`d like to get the veil right away.

Wow! this dress is popular I also just purchased this dress for my Sept. 07 wedding and absolutely love it was the first dress I fell in love with and the dress I eventually came back to. My colors are lilac and chocolate and I am so excited I also work at Davids Bridal and have been unable to find the matching veil and tiara at any store but I found a new tiara that we have in the store that i think looks great I`ll have to get the style number and let you all know what it is when I get home...

I am using Lilac, Chocolate, and Vanilla for my color scheme...

I am using mystic purple from Davids ... And gold and silver for accent colors. I actually got the last tiarra they had in the store (it has a little piece missing, but you can`t see it because it`s right on the bottom where your hair covers it), and I bought my dress off the rack in a size 16, but had it taken in to about a 14. I didn`t alter the length because I am 5`10. I also got the matching purse. I am getting married in May `07 and might be interested in selling any and or all of these items after my big day. Hi I just love this dress too. How does it look on bigger brides? Judging by what I`ve heard you generally go up a size in a wedding dress. So I guess I`d be a 18 in this dress. I wore this gown on my wedding day in 2005 and it truly was the gown of my dreams. I had originally picked a gown out and bought it but i wasn`t excited about it. The girls i worked with knew i wasn`t in love with it and asked me what gown would i pick if i could and i said this one, so they forked out the money and exchanged my old one in for this one. Since it was two weeks before my wedding i had already planned everything out and everything was purchased. My girls wore burgundy/wine and my bouquet was pinks, ivories and champagnes. The girls had various shades of burgundy and pinks in their kissing ball bouquets. It was beautiful. I didn`t wear the tiara that went with it. I didn`t like it all that much, i wore a swarovski crystal one from davids bridal. It was perfect. I preserved my gown and matching purse and i get to look at it whenever i want. You made an awesome choice. My gown was purchased when it cost 1450 but you were lucky to get the clearance price. Good luck. And i hope you enjoy your gown for years to come. Its very photogenic, you won`t be dissapointed.
