I Do Not Want A Bachelor Party
Hello, I just got proposed to on Friday (Nov. 2) and said yes. I have always been a bit scared of getting married, but I have found the perfect guy and know that I want to spend the rest of my life with him. We have known each other for five years, been a couple for a little over a year, and been living together for about six months now.
My first question is, how unproper is it to not have bachelor/bachelorette parties? And how do you politely, but sternly make that known? We have both agreed wholeheartedly that we do not want them. We are actually saving ourselves for each other (including nudity/seeing nudity). I have also heard that a lot of people never make it to their wedding because of arguments after the parties that can leave emotional scars. To me, a bachelor or bachelorette party is like Temptation Island. Why risk it? I am very trusting of my guy and am not worried about him cheating or anything, but do I really want him to remember his last single night as "one of the best nights of his life". Is that not what a marriage is for? I do not want him to associate being without me with hot naked women. And the same the other way around. I would feel ashamed seeing naked men. I read a post where someone said she kept wondering who was the stripper when her friends took her out. To me, personally, I can not imagine that. Imagining someone other than my guy naked is sad to me. It makes me feel sick inside. There any many other reasons involved, also.

Someone in a post mentioned that girls are insecure about not wanting their man having a stripper. NO THEY ARE NOT INSECURE. Listen, whoever said that probably will have a failed marriage themselves. I believe that if you allow women strippers at a male bachelor party, it LEADS TO LUST. They are sitting there getting horny off of other womens breasts and God knows what else. OF COURSE A WOMAN DOES NOT WANT THEIR MAN TO SEE THAT. Listen, to the people who marry these men who have bachelor parties: These men are most likely to cheat on you, they obviously feel the need to see other women. A marriage is supposed to be between 2 people that love each other and DO NOT NEED TO VIEW OR HAVE SEX WITH OTHER PEOPLE. For the ones who do not believe me, I GUARANTEE you that your spouse will cheat on you, if they don`t cheat, then they definitly look at porn or other lustful material. Basically, if a woman does feel insecure about having her man go to a party like that, then I don`t really blame her, because he would not be there unless he wanted to see other women in the first place. You WOMEN AND MEN are just giving excuses. By the way, don`t say that someone did not warn ya`ll if you get cheated on in the future if you allow nonsense like this. OH AND BEFORE SOMEONE throws in my face about trust, maybe a man won`t cheat physically, but HE IS CHEATING MENTALLY at these parties, duh! I am not getting married yet but the bachelor party situation has come up before. I just made it known that I would never tolerate him going away for a weekend. We ended up coming up with a great idea. The thing is me and my boyfriend always party together....we`ve always been real club people and its never just the girls or just the guys. Its always either just us or us and whoever wants to come. We decided for our wedding we are going to do something big ...together....bring OUR friends to Altantic city or rent a party bus and go to the city or rent out a club or whatever. The way we see it getting married is not the last night your going to hang out with your friends anyways....plus when your engaged your not single anyways so there is nothing you should be doing without or fiance there that you wouldn`t do with them there. PLus we thought it would be fun. Just an idea...not for everyone
