Chocolate And Pink Color Scheme
I am thinking of using chocolate brown and pink as the colors for my wedding (Nov. 2005). Has anyone seen this before? Have you come across any pictures online? Any suggestions??

Those colors sound very nice. I saw gowns that had a sleeveless hot pink top and chocolate brown skirt (attached) and a beautiful wrap. I saw that last year when I went to New York and I thought that looked like strawberry ice cream on a waffle cone. There are so many ideas that you can use with that for favors. Connie is great, I bought my favors from her she is wonderful. Good Luck.

I think that sounds like an awesome idea. Those are the colors that I want in my bedroom along with cream. It`s like neopolitan ice cream. Have fun!

Hi--I haven`t seen those colors used personally, but I have seen them on several bridesmaid dresses so far and in a place setting, and they looked really good. There are a lot of bridesmaid dress that incorporate two satin colors, so you could make use of those!

Check out the Martha Stewart Weddings book and look at chocolate cosmos flowers. They would look beautiful. You should add in a deep, deep red like those flowers. I personally think that chocolate and soft pink would look gorgeous. Neopolitan ice cream served in little silver bowls with the cake would also be very cute! Good luck!

Hi,
Elegant Bride Winter 2004 edition(just came out) has a really exotic looking bouquet on pg 123...it has vibrant bright pink orchids and brown colored feathers and ribbon...it also has some red in it but I`m sure the design is adaptable (ok..sounds scary, but it`s different and it sounds like that`s what you`re going for) check it out.

I am dping the same thing, same time of the year. I found neapolitan striped (like the ice cream) note cards and a BUNCH of invitations at mygatsby.com. I am doing most of it myself since I like the creative stuff and have found I can replicate things from Henri Bendel....so pink and brown stripes and cream colored polk-a-dots, lots of options out there. I also bought brown envelopes and pink bows and brown boxes for favors. Brown candels or even cream colored candles in a small brown box with a pink tulle bow would be great favors!

I know someone who is doing a chocolate-themed wedding. She is using little chocolate cakes as centerpieces at the tables and Godiva chocolate for favors. There are also some really pretty chocolate brown wedding invitations on Ebay. I don`t remember where, but if you type in "chocolate brown invitation" you should be able to find it.
The chocolate theme is really popular these days. It sounds so nice.

Hi
I am using the same color theme for my wedding Jjune2005).
I have found many Bridesmaid dresses that have the colors together but none that I love. I have found lots of deep chocolate dresses but the only way to bring in the pink is with the flowers. What did you decide on for dresses??
I love your Henri Bendel idea. I live in NY and will go there for inspiration as well. Good Luck!!!

I am also having chocolate brown and pink for my september wedding. My bridesmaids will be in brown and I will probably put my flower girl in either pink or ivory (same as me). My flowers will be a mixture of hot pink and baby pink...and the bridesmaids will have baby pink. I`m online now looking for chocolate and pink invitations. Carlton craft had some that I saw. Good luck!!

I am using a brown and pink color scheme as well. The dresses are chocolate brown with a pink ribbon around the waste. But I don`t know what to have the groomsmen wear as their vests and ties. Of course their tux will be black, I hate to make them wear pink vests. I also saw a mocha colored vest, or should they just go with a traditional black vest because isn`t it bad taste to wear black and brown together? HELP!!

Fran,
I have finally figured out how to put together my brown and pink bridesmaids dresses with the groomsmen black tuxes. They will be wearing a mocha colored vest and tie. Apparently this is new this year. But the mocha colored vests are textured with different shades of the mocha color. It actually looks really good with the bridesmaids dresses. And the groom, of course, will wear a black tux with a white vest and tie. Let me know if this helps, and if you have any other ideas.

Hello- i am having a brown and pink wedding in November as well. I found great pink strapless bridesmaids gowns- they have expresso trim and they look very 50`s.after six style A6219. I am also using brach candies-neopolitans- can go to brach`s website and they will direct you to a seller where you can buy bulk. They also have colourworks M&M`s i am going to get pink and brown and layer tham in irish coffee mugs with the brachs for favours.
I am having problems with the groom and groomsmen`s attire- he wants a black suit, hates vests and monochrome ties! i was thinking a pink and brown stripe tie or something, but I cant find any! anyone seen pink and brown ties? will pink and brown look weird with black suits? should they wear ivory or white shirts?
Also just interested in anyother ideas people have
Cheers

I sound like a broken record, but I too am having a chocolate and blush color scheme for my October 15 wedding. My bridesmaid dresses are mori lee (mocha) and the gals will carry a small bouquet of pink roses. The groomsmen will wear all black (cream shirts) and have a pink rose bout. I will carry a bouquet of white roses with some pink tea roses sprinkled in to carry the theme and the flower girls will be in white with pink sashes and will throw pink rose petals. I am having cupcakes for dessert - 75% - a chocolate `orgasm` cake and icing, and 25% pink cake with pink frosting - all from our local baker. They will be on varying levels - on cake stands, tiered dessert trays and the like, and the table will be sprinkled with pink rose petals. I am renting linens in a rich, chocolate color (with a hint of sheen, not glitter) that will lay over cream linens that go to the floor. The centerpieces will be pink flowers of all kinds - some tables will have thick, robust arrangements, while others will have floating buds, small bud vases and candles/hurricane lamp surrounded by a circle of pink hued flowers (roses, lilies, camellias, hydrangeas, tulips, peonies, etc). Rose petals will be sprinkled on all tables, also. I`ve been planning with this theme since last August so I`ve had time to pull things together pretty well...all the suggestions I`ve read on this site have been helpful - especially knowing I`m not the only one who was concerned with black tuxes and brown. Our favors are being made by a local chocolate shop (The Chocolate Tree, 843/524.7980) - the are making milk chocolate and pink chocolate sanddollars for us and boxing them up in small present-boxes with bows. It makes sense since we`re getting married in South Carolina and live along the coast. The shop has dozens of chocolate molds, though, to choose from and are reasonable (under $4.oo per item depending on what you get).

I have looked for the mocha vest and can`t seem to find a pic of it...I`m thinking of having the GM wear a pink vest and tie (after all, pink is the new color for guys...hopefully they won`t mind=) and the groom will wear ivory. When are you getting married? What kind of flowers are you having?
What a great idea for the candy neopolitans!! Thank you, Sarah!

Well now I`m REALLY kicking myself... I`ve always LOVED pink and brown together but never thought it would look right in a wedding, though it was definitely my first choice. Now I totally regret the hum drum black and silver look I chose (`cause I couldn`t think of anything else I liked...) after reading how many people like the pink/brown idea... :( Does anyone think it would look horrific if I blended in the pink and brown with the silver in black somehow?? Any ideas how to do it?? The dresses are already in, so that`s too late... Would it be bad to have the cake and reception decor be totally different from the ceremony decor?!? EEk! As the saying goes... I should have gone with my gut, and my gut was screaming for brown and pink... Argh! :( Oh, just FYI... Www.paperieandco.com ahs some adorable invites (formal and informal alike) in different variations of pink and brown... Enjoy!

I am also having a chocolate and pink wedding, Feb. 2006. I too have always loved the color combo. My bridesmaids are wearing Banana Republic dresses that are ombre from pale pink to hot pink. I am using the whole pink color scale and only chocolate brown. Our cake is going to be pale pink with chocolate decorations and my flowers are roses and call lillies.
My bridemaids boquets will be the range of pink with bright green hypercunim berries and a choclate ribbon. My bouquet will be mostly white with pale pink roses mixed in.
I have seen some invitation with pink bouquets on the top at finestationary.com. They are one of my favorite sites because you can personalize them and save them for later!

Hey Everyone
I am just starting to really get into planning my wedding. I am in love with the idea of a chocolate and pink wedding. I think it will be soooo pretty. My wedding isnt until Sept. 2006, but I am still excited. I wanted some opinions on my ideas.
There is no way that our groomsmen will wear pink vests or shirts..and frankly i dont think i would want them to. What im thinking is getting my dresses from Alfred Angelo. My wedding dress will be style #1735 (white, ivory and cafe). My bridesmaids dresses will be style #3125 (in espresso). Our bouquets will be a mix of pinks and ivory (and possibly some Chocolate colored silk roses that I found online to pull in the color of the BM dresses) )My fiance and the groomsmen will wear black tuxes with ivory colored vests and ties. Our flower girl will wear a pink (blush) colored dress. At the reception i will have blush and ivory colored rose petals on the table..with an ivory tablecloth..and hopefully chair covers.
Please let me know what you guys think..I really could use the help. If any of you have pictures of this scheme being successfully executed...i would much appreciate a peak at a few of them. Thanks..and good luck with all your planning :-)

Wow, I am blown away by how many brown and pink weddings are taking place. I am getting married Aug 20th and those are my colors as well. I have TWELVE bridesmaids and they will be in Chocolate Espresso dresses. I bought the fabric and they all get to design a style that will suit their body types. I love all of the tips from Tuxes to invites. I would love to create and make my own ivites, but I have been having a hard time finding great chocolate paper. Of course I have to mail them in about three weeks. Any suggestions?

Wow, pink and brown are very popular this year. I am also using pink and brown for my wedding. The maid of honor is wearing a alfred angelo dress in dusty rose and the other bridesmaids are in the same dress in essresso. They look breath taking together. The groomsman on the other hand I am having the worst time with. Black and brown? Together? No colore vests and ties match my girls dresses. The Moca color is too light and none of the pinks seem to match. They are either to light or coral. I am lost on what to do. My wedding is only 4 months away and the groomsmen tuxs are still left to be picked out. I really need some help. And we can`t afford to have everyone buy brown suits like we wanted to. So if anyone has any ideas for me they would be much needed.

Hello all,
I have come to the conclusion that it is impossible to rent a brown suit or tux. I found a great website, though, called www.shopping.com. Enter brown suit and you will get a bunch! they have some really nice ones from 100-300 dollars. They also have pink and brown ties on there.
Does anyone have ideas for favours? there is so much cheese out there!

Well for those of you having a hard time with bridesmade dresses, here`s what I found. Jim Helm- Occassion`s actually has a neopolitan dress (#JH4255) which is very nice. And the neat thing about it is that they can make most of the styles you like from thier line with the material. Also, the After Six collection for men has a dark brown vest and tie that are very nice. And I`m pretty sure they can be rented.
For those of you, like me, that are doing thier own invites Making Memories sells pink and brown scrapbook sheets in individual sheets or is stacks. The one I like is called Cosmo Pink. You can go to any scrapbook store to find just about any color of paper or cardstock. I found the best deals on www.createforless.com.
Good luck to all! I look forward to reading more ideas on the Pink and brown look.

Okay, so I`ve read these posts for a few months now and have done enough research on this pink and brown phenomenon to last me a lifetime!...I figured I could share what I found with each of you, to save you all a teeny bit of work and worry :)
My wed is p&b mostly, with lt. Blue and celadon hydrangeas as accent colors. I did this to bring my spring dream wedding into my November 05 reality :) Bridesmaids are in brown dresses from Jordan fashions, greatest chocolate color I found to date. Flower girls are in a Sweet Beginnings dress also made by Jordan in Choco. One will have a celadon sash, one a light pink, the other a lt. Blue sash. My flowers are pink, blue and green hydrangeas, with a different pot on each table as a centerpiece (painting ceramic pots in brown and pink sponge paint with a brown satin ribbon around each)chocolate cosmos, hydrangeas, green orchids and light pink roses are the bouquets. Little girls will have a matching hydrangea on each of their dress sashes, tiny but elegant and not too much....
Maid of honor has a tiny blue bow at her waist and the other women have pink bows---her daughter, the jr. Bridesmaid is in a matching lt. Blue sash and brown dress.
As for tuxes, that was the toughest part...so, Groom will wear a celadon vest (he has green eyes and brown hair) and a matching Windsor tie with his tux. Groomsmen will wear brown vests and matching Windsor ties with their tuxes, but if that doesn`t pan out, then black will work just fine. Their flowers will be cymbidium orchids and the groom`s will have a tiny choco cosmo with his boutonniere.
As for ribbons, favors, gifts in hotels, I have a million ideas or more...as we are on a budget my favorite idea so far is the Neapolitan candies you get in the grocery store. I think Brach`s makes them, and you can buy a few to tuck in a cello bag, to use as fillers with simple white or ivory candles and matchbooks you can print and cut to fit the ones you find in bulk at a cheap store. Tiny votive holders can be wrapped in brown ribbon, or pink and brown and white ribbon which is easier to find than you might think--online or at a craft store.
My engagement party invites were blue and brown (bronze metallic cardstock from paperandmore.com, with little lt. Blue bows and tiny engagement rings made of crystals and the loops you buy at the craft store for necklace hooks. People are still talking about them. Save the date cards were the same metallic bronze with a green inset page with a weather forecast since most guests are traveling far to join us. The wedding invite will be pink and brown and host packets in their hotels will be a variation of all three.
I have a 1,000 more ideas and not enough need to use them all---if you need help, drop me a line and I`ll help however I can! :) Congrats everyone!!!

Well here I am thinking that I am being quite creative with the brown and pink wedding, and it turns out that it seems every wedding in October and November is going to be pink and brown!!! My bridesmaids are also wearing a After Six gown....A6225. Brown velvet, and the saash will be pink. I loved the idea of velvet for a late fall wedding. I will be picking our my flowerd this weekend. But, I am trying not to go way overboard with the pink and brown. So, I am adding an accent of green. I love green as well. It will be a lot easier to tie the pink in with the black, and brown if I I have another color in there as well. So sticking to mainly pink and brown, I will have an accent of green. Not a dark green, and not a bright green, but inbetween the 2.
I have loved reading everyone`s ideas, and I will let you know when I have some of my own to share. Tuxes have definilty seemed to be the hardest part, but I am using such a deep chocolate brown, that I don`t think the black tuxes will look bad with it.

Brown & pink, me too! Anyone else having trouble finding shoes for their brown bridesmaid dresses? Mine are tea length (Dessy 1986 in Espresso) and I`d really like a cute matching open toe slide or slingback.

With regard to the Dessy 1986 dress in espresso...Salon Shoes has a style called Capri that comes in a Mocha color which matches the dress almost perfectly. There is some beading across the toe and an ankle strap. Heel height is just over 2 inches, so not too bad. Definitely worth checking out.

I`m getting married in April of 2006 and I too am using Chocolate and Pink. My girls are wearing a Jordan dress. The number to the dress is jo700. They are going to have the dress brown and the sash black to tie them in with the tux. The groom is in all black, and the groomsmen are in black tux with choclate brown vest that have black ethcing in them.
My flowers are going to be from hot watermelon pink all the way to a light pink with a few chocolate cosmos mixed in.
This wedding of mine has been so much fun to plan because you can really do anything you want and get away with it. All of you seem to have some excellent ideas.
I`m even doing my cake chocolate and pink!
Best of luck to all of you, and if you want to check out that bridesmaid dress go to www.jordanfashions.com
Good luck to all of you!

My wedding is in 18 days and we are also doing pink and brown. The bridesmaids dresses were made by my aunt - copy of a Bill Levkoff design. They are light pink satin with a chocolate brown ribbon sash. The groom is wearing a brown suit from Jos. A. Banks with a light pink shirt and brown tie with pink. Our groomsmen, who are all good sports, are wearing British tan dress pants with the same pink shirt and a slightly darker pink tie with some brown. I don`t know why some guys refuse to wear pink. It`s so silly. Everyone looks good in pink and I think guys in pink look hot! Tell them to get over it. Real men wear pink! We decided not to do tuxes. I`m not a huge fan and it`s actually cheaper for our groomsmen to buy the outfit we picked out (everything was on sale from Jos. A. Banks) and they can wear the stuff again. Plus, I really didn`t want any black and you can`t get brown tuxes. I think a really nice suit can be just as classy, if not more so, than a rented tuxedo. Anyway, my dress is champagne ivory so we are doing a lot of champagne roses and pink flowers. Our cake is pink with a white lace design that mimics the lace on my dress. I found nice chocolate paper from the Paper Source - www.paper-source.com. They have great invitation supplies. We are doing ivory linens with a sheer pink runner. I can`t wait!

Has anyone been able to find brown and pink ties? I know it will clash with the black tuxes, but I think it will be fine. We just haven`t been able to find anything with chocolate and pink. For my flowers, I am doing ivory roses with stephanotis for me and light and dark tulips for the bridesmaids. Also, shoes... These are going to be gold. I love how gold and brown look together and I think it will be so cute! All of them are wearing a different style, I think it will reflect their personality well. The dresses they are wearing are the dessy 2015 in dark brown. Invitations...I made my own. Ivory paper with pink vellum with dark brown ink tied together with a chocolate ribbon. I think they look great. And they weren`t expensive at all! It cost me $200 to make 175 with invite, reply card, directions card, accomodation card and reception card. It was fabulous!

This is really just about the Chocolate part of the color scheme, but I have some good news for brides of 2006. I walked into a bridal shop yesterday and asked if they have Chocolate suits or tuxes. The man said no, but that he has had many many brides ask for them this year. He told me that he would be surprised if chocolate suits (including shoes!) were not available by next summer. In other words If we all keep bugging the tux companies they will be sure to add chocolate soon.

Hi, I see many brides have chosen Chocolate Brown and Pink. I found the bridesmaid dresses and fell in love with them. The dresses would be brown with a think pink ribbon bunched up. I just can`t decide if I want a spring or fall wedding. Will the brown dresses look bad for a spring wedding?

I just tied the knot in July of this year (`05). The color scheme was chocolate brown and baby pink. It was trendy but very classic at the same time. Our flowergirl looked sooo adorable!! Everybody loved the colors and thought that is was sooo unique! I knew our wedding day was going to be talked about for a long time thereafter.

We are also getting married near the shore so I was going to incorporate the blue into a sort of beached them. Maybe by doing Blue candles on the tables with sand and shells. I have a year to go so i`m still gathering thoughts!!

My wedding is next week. I am using pink, brown and sage green. It looks awesome. Our table linens are brown with green napkins and pink ribbons tying the napkins. The centerpeices are mostly pink and green flowers with a brown rustic pot. The bridesmaides are wearing a soft pink. Our invitations were pink and brown. And our favors are old fashion style shabby chic tea cups with tulle and pink & green ribbon. I thought of pink and brown at first but the green reallly brings it together. Good luck!

We are doing a chocolate and pink wedding as well and we actually just picked out the tuxes. We are having black tuxes with chocolate vests and ties.......they look really nice....there is a little pattern on them and the vests are flecked with black. And then we are going to have a pink boutonierre to tie it all together. My bridesmaids will be in chocolate brown skirts with blush pink tops.

I am also having a pink and brown wedding in July 2006. I picked what I think are gorgeous bridesmaids dresses that are chocolate, strapless, A-line, two-pieces with a bustled skirt. It will look flattering on any figure. Plus, you can pick the sash color, and there is one that is light pink! You can find it by going to www. Watters.com (it is a watters and watters dress), then click on "watters and watters," and it will be the fourth dress on the right. Let me know what you think. My problem is picking the right flowers. There is a chocolate rose called Leonidis, but I am wanting even more chocolate flower varieties because Leonidis can sometimes look a little red. I have heard there are some brown orchids. Do you have any suggestions? Have you heard of the brown orchids? Have you heard of any other chocolate flowers?

I know that you ladies out there don`t believe that guys actually help with the wedding coordination, well when my fiance decided on the colors I immediately thought that this would be awasome! I like to be flashy, the only thing is that I haven`t found absolutely anything to wear to match... The bridesmaids dresses are from Davids Bridal, and the top is pink with a T-lenth brown bottom... I`ve thought about Ivory, but it doesn`t seem to go too well, suits are too expensive unless you get a hook-up, and it all comes down to black which is HORRIFIC! Black and Brown do not match at all! Too all of you ladies that say it looks fine, you must can`t dress... LOL! Anyway, I`m thinking of a champaigne colored tuxedo with chocolate vest and ties... It will all blend perfectly trust me. You can find this at www.mytuxedocatalog.com. Look under tuxes, and the tux is a Perry Ellis Champagne Republic. This way, the men don`t have to worry about wearing pink (although I don`t mind at all, some people are just set in those hillbilly ways though) The only thing to worry about now are the shoes... Good Luck, my wedding is in May (27th) the same day as my frat brothers... LOL Bachelor Parties!!!

I saw the Perry Ellis Champagne Tux, and I think it is gorgeous. However, where is the chocolate brown vest and tie? Have you found them yet? I have been looking everywhere and can`t find them anywhere.

Ok ladies, I am also doing the pink and brown wedding. I found a great tie for the groom or groomsmen, so I wanted to let you all know about it. So, here`s the link: http://www.forzieri.com/usa/deptb.asp?l=usa&c=usa
If that`s difficult for you to find, go under www.forzieri.com and click under the mens section, click ties, and click under dolce and gabbana. It`s the pink tie with white/cranberry/brown stripes and it looks absolutely fabulous.
Happy shopping

If you are looking for some really great chocolate colored flowers, choose the chocolate cosmo! Its a delicate flower in a rich brown, and even smells a little like chocolate. I was going to have them in my wedding, but bad weather in CA wiped them out. But try for yours!

Chocolate and Pink is so popular this year! I resently attended a Bridal Show in Chattanooga TN, and it was all you saw. My problem is- My man wants to get one of those Ritzy-looking tailcoat, with those FAT-TIES. Which is so cute, but I know that won`t come in a brown. So, I decided to put the groomsmen in Brown suits, ivory shirt, and pink and brown striped ties; and Matt in an ivory tux (with pink accents in the tie), because my dress also is ivory.

I am going with a latte colored gown for the bridesmaids (Davids Bridal) and I am wearing ivory. I am having a chocolate fountain at my reception and am using chocolate bars and made a template to wrap around the bar to serve as my seat assignment/meal selection. I am also having a favor at each place setting but not chocolate. I`m possibly having a chocolate cake but would like to see any pictures as I`m going to incorporate pink into the scheme. Also, interested in any flower choices. Thinking of a single chocolate cosmo for a boutonierre (sp) but not sure about my flowers or bridesmaids. Any suggestions or pictures would be most appreciated.

To Lisa,
I have recently been planning a chocolate and pink wedding. I too am using Latte and light pink gowns for my bridesmaids, and my flowers are light pink Gerbera Daisies. They are too die for! They actually also make brown Gerbera Diasies which is waht I am using also. I am doing Hersheys kisses that are wrapped in pink and brown for favors. My decorations for the reception include, chocolate fountain, strawberry(pink) Margaritas, big flower vases filled with brown pears and 3 single long stemmed Gerbera Daisies for center pieces. A picture of Myself and new Husband on each table, done in the Sephia color (for the brown effect). I love the brown and pink wedding ideas!!! Have fun with it!

I`m having a chocolate and pink wedding October 14. I`m using Forever Bridal`s dresses. They have a lot to choose from and you can get any of them in the choco/pink combo. My flowers are white roses with stephanotis and my bridesmaids will carry light pink roses. The flowers are simple, but they are very pretty. They`ll be tied with chocolate and pink ribbon. Some other really pretty pink flowers are freesia and nerine. If you go to weddingsolutions.com (my FAVORITE website), you can find flowers that are in season the month of your wedding. My favors are going to be chocolate covered apples. Think caramel apples, but chocolate instead. They`ll have a leaf tag with my new last initial monogrammed on it. I think I`m going to put them on silver cake plates and use them as centerpieces versus flowers. Oh, and if anyone is still looking for invites, Rexcraft has cute ones. They`re called "Petite". They are brown cards with a white wrap and pink ribbon. Marilyn`s Keepsakes has one- it`s called Contemporary Wrap. As for napkins, I`m using 1/2 mocha and 1/2 blush. Rexcraft also has these at a really cheap price!! Hope this helps someone!

Hey girls.... I have been planning my chocolate nad pink for only 2 months (the wedding is June 17th). I have had extremely good luck that all of this has been so easy. I got my dress (white ballgown from maggie Storretro) and I found the perfect dresses for bridesmaids (forever yours in chocolate). My bouquet is all pink with different flowers (gerbera daisies, roses, and a stargazer lilly right in the middle) my bridesmaids are carring 5 different types of pink flowers and then we are going to mathc the groomsmen with the same flowers. I did decide to go with the black tuxes and an expresso tie and vests it matches the dress perfectly. The groom is in all black ( i let him pick that out). My cake is 4 square tiers in different positions. It is going to chocolate icing with pink foundant piping on the edges. I will have pink gerbers daisies on the top and in the corners. I have so much decorating ideas on incorporating the colors together. The only thing I am stuck on right now are the shoes for the bridesmaids dresses. I want like a clear shoes but everything i have seen looks like stripper shoes. But I don`t want pink or brown.

I am so glad to see that I am not the only one who thinks brown and pink are great colors for a wedding! Whenever I tell anyone that those are the colors I plan to have...they all question wether it will look good for a wedding. I would love it if anyone has any pictures of anything these colors. Also, I seem to have trouble find brown balloons...anyone know where I can find any? Thanks.

Hi - I am also doing a pink and brown wedding scheme. My bridesmaids are wearing a pink dress with brown ribbon and I want the guys to wear brown tuxes with pink vests. But I haven`t been able to find brown tuxes. Any ideas?

And here i thouhgt i was being unique! great minds think alike!
For my wedding, the bridesmaids will be wearing a mocha colored dress, the flower girls are in light pink, the groomsmen are in cream shirt, and mocha ties, the ring beares will have cream shirts with pink ties( they are young enough to get away with it) my flowers have mocha, pink and cream colored roses with a light lime green hydrangea for an accent color. My best idea i think is my wedding cake. We decided to have a 4 tier cheesecake for our wedding cake, with chocholate ganache over it with cream and pink circles made out of rolled fondant covering the cake. Best of luck to you all!!!!!!!!!

I am doing Pink & Brown for my wedding on June 23, 2007! Any pictures or ideas using these colors would be greatly appreciated! So far I picked dresses that are "espresso" (brown) with pink sorbet bows on them. The dresses are from Alfred Angelo. Style # 6133. Then I figured the girls could carry pink boquets. My invitations I found at Invitingsmiles.com they are brown and pink with a bow across the front that has brown and pink polka dots. I also found my cake while searching the internet. Inside the reception I plan on doing Every other table pink and brown with the reverse color napkins. I am stil stuck on favors and centerpieces. Any ideas????
