We went to Gatlinburg, TN.
It`s a very popular place to get married and honeymoon.
It was so nice and quiet. If you like the mountains, this is definitely the way to go.
You can rent a cabin and have it all to yourself.
We had a great time.

My fiancee and I are considering southern Utah...there are 3 national parks close together, and Best friends animal sanctuary is there...we might volunteer there for a day or two. (We both love dogs.)

Gatlinburg and the Smokies are incredibley beautiful, but chilly if you are going soon! I like to get away to WARM spots when I am in cold weather here in MD. Clearwater Beach and Key West and Ft. Lauderdale are wonderful cities to while away honeymoon hours. Of course if the weather is May to October, you should come to visit in Ocean City, Maryland. You will love it here - see the wild horses on the beach on Assateague Island, take a canoe or kayak trip - jet ski or sail - it`s all here, and the people are friendly!
