Too Many Girls!!

My fiance and I have a problem in that there are too many girls in our families! I have a sister and four female cousins, and my fiance has four sisters and not many close male friends. We are both very close to our families and want to include as many of them as possible in our wedding in some way, but how can we `even them up` with guys??!!! We are not planning an overly traditional wedding, but how can we fill the traditional male roles?! :) Some people have suggested having a "Best Woman" instead of a best man, and having the younger girls as juniour bridesmaids, ushers etc. Does anyone have any more ideas???!! :)

I am having the same problem, I have four sisters. I don`t want a lot of brides maids so I am thinking to have my friend as my maid of honor, then two of my sisters as brides maids, and I guess two as candle lighters/ flowergirls- they are 17 years old (twins). I think age doesn`t really matter. I have the same question posted further down.

I am having a guy stand up with my maids of honor. You do not have to have the sides balanced... 4 guys and 4 girls. It can be six and two. Just remember why you have people stand up with you - its because they are your true friends -for life - if you try to balance it out it takes away from the whole idea.

Thanks for your help!

I think we have decided to have a total of 12 in the bridal party (including the bride and groom) with my sister as the maid of honour, two of his sisters as bridesmaids, my cousin as a jnr bridesmaid, ANOTHER of his sisters as a ringbearer and the youngest sister and my youngest cousin as flowergirls! Plus three guys.....and the other two cousins as ushers.

Do you think this will look okay?
