I have read some postings about "Melody" and I am disturbed because I am yet to get my refund from her for an oleg cassini dress that I ordered 4 months ago. She kept telling me she will mail it, and two weeks before the wedding, she told me the dress arrived from Oleg and will mail it the day after. About a week afterI still haven`t received the dress and I called her, she told me she`ll mail another dress same day to arrive next day. I never got any dress so I had to go buy the dress at david`s bridal a week to the wedding. Can you imagine that one time she even used the hurricane disaster in florida as an excuse for not mailing the dress! I`ve been trying to get my refund from her since then, all she did was make excuses. I sent a nasty email ys`day and I got an mail from her this morning in which she was telling me that she has been out of business for SOME month and does not have any money and that she wants to refund my money in installments. She is just so unbelievable; just last week this woman told me to fax her a statement cancelling the order that she will send to oleg to get the refund. Please y`all we have to do something about this woman, I know I will. Please send me emails if you have encountered this woman and her fraudulents ways. I am going to report her for Internet fraud and also report her to paypal through whom I paid her. I am also trying to find out what I need to do to take her on Jugde Mathis.

I was also duped by Melody. You say you used PayPal but did you also use a credit card? If so call your credit card company and file a non receipt of goods complaint. They will handle the dispute and usually refund your money. I was lucky enough to receive a full refund from Melody once I threatened to do just that as well as file a complaint with her local Sheriff`s office.

Sorry to see so many have been ripped off by her. A while back, I came across her somehow. I was inquiring about some gowns. It seemed that any gown that I had asked for, she could get it with no problem. I had a discount bridal shop at the time.I almost placed an order with her for several gowns but a "red" flag went up when I asked her for crentials(?). I never heard from her again. I was leary about ordering something online becasue I had gotten ripped off by someone I had dealt with thru e-bay. I won a gown and received it with no problem. I told her I was looking for other gowns for my shop and she said she had a size 16, So I took the bait and bought it. Well that was 2 years ago and nevered received that gown. I can`t remember her name now ,but I often wonder if it`s the same person. I couldn`t do anything about it thru e-bay because that item wasn`t the one up in the auction. I wish all the ones that have a case against her, the best of luck.

DO NOT allow her to pay you in installments! It`s been 9 months and she still hasn`t paid in full with me yet. Many excuses and lies! I emailed Judge Judy and they are interested in this story so I suggest you look into that after you file complaints with the local PD, internet fraud department, etc. She is a manipulative, lying, scam artist and needs to be stopped permanently!
