BRIDES BEWARE!!!!! PLEASE ALL READ.
To all New brides to this board. In the event you are new here and do not know who Melody Rowe is I want to tell you. She is a scammer, many, many brides have posted here upset because they have gave their money to her for a gown and never got it. She preys on you ladies. She uses different names for her company and herself. She will have you pay through Paypal. I posted here recently looking for a gown just curious is she was still proweling the board. She is! She has contacted me to try and sell me the gown. Partypop says they have removed her account as a vendor so she is not suppose to be able to post and is show her company name as a the legitimate ones here does. But she did not post to my post, she emailed me directly. Please, be careful. Her email is BridalElegnce@aol.com. I am sure it will change too, but just beware! I am a vendor here, a legitimate one and she does make it hard for us to do business, but I feel even if a few of you shy away from online business I would rather lose a customer or two than see the rest of you get scammed by her again. I hope this helps and good luck!

Some say yes and some say no. If not I really feel sorry for her. There is a Fairytale weddings on here, there were two, one I know was the scammer, she was posting as Lynne. The only thing is the one that posts as Melody on here says she is not that Melody. She says she has had a business for 10 yrs. But if you read her website she does not carry inventory, so to me that means she is working from home. Not that that is a bad thing, I have a shop and work from home too. So I am not putting that down. So I guess be careful. I tell customers they can contact my local courthouse and I am registered there with my business name and of course my name as the owner. This confirms that I am not lying about who I am and I do have a registered business. I suggest everyone do their homework before purchasing. This is the safest way for everyone and for those of us who are legit it is no big deal to be checked out since we have nothing to hide.

As another concerned vendor, I would recommend all brides check out bridal websites to verify that the person they are dealing with is an authorized dealer of the gowns they are selling.
I always recommend that my internet brides check out (for example) the Maggie Sottero website to show them I am an authorized dealer.
The other thing that I recommend is to check with the Better Business Bureau. These ratings will really tell you what the business is run like and if it even exists.
I was scammed on the internet before. I understand a bride`s hesitation to buy over the internet. But, if you really do some checking on the business you are looking to purchase from, you should be fine.
Good luck to all those brides out there!
