Bachelorette/Bachelor Parties And More. . .
Hello, I just got proposed to on Friday (Nov. 2) and said yes. I have always been a bit scared of getting married, but I have found the perfect guy and know that I want to spend the rest of my life with him. We have known each other for five years, been a couple for a little over a year, and been living together for about six months now.
My first question is, how unproper is it to not have bachelor/bachelorette parties? And how do you politely, but sternly make that known? We have both agreed wholeheartedly that we do not want them. We are actually saving ourselves for each other. There any many other reasons involved, also.
My second question is, we have cats and would like them to somehow be at our outdoor wedding. . .has anyone had this before? Any suggestions?
My third question is, all of our relatives are in the USA but we are in Canada. . .which country should we have the wedding in?
And finally, we want an outdoor wedding with trees and water nearby. We want it in the late evening in late July. Does anyone know of a perfect spot?

Melissa, girl are you crazy not wanting a bachelorette party? Lighten up.
I am the exact opposite I just got married and my friends did NOTHING! They took me out to eat, that`s it. The whole time I was waiting for a stripper to pop out, was it going to be the waiter? or would he be there when we got home? I figured it had to be that night because they didn`t do anything up to this point. But go figure, nothing! I mean nothing, NOTHING!!!!!!!
I wanted one, and now it`s too late. So girls listen up, don`t be cheap, chip in and hire a hot guy when a friend gets married. We are from Delaware, if I had my way, I`d hire a stripper from one of the companies on this site, like the one that replied to this posting too.

Congradulations!
Do not have a stripper party. You will regret it your hole marriage {and it won`t last long!} Have a bruch with friends and family ...
And for the men, have a "Canadian Tire wedding shower". That mean you need to buy a power tool to get in the door. Get in front of the t.v. Have a few beer and get some steak and BBQ! They will love it! And your hubby-to-be will get what he want`s .. TOOLS!
Now Canada have very nice wedding locations at very cheap prices. Niagra Falls has great packages ... But if you like the ocean, please come to Halifax. Check out Casino Halifax {Nova Scotia} on the Web. They have wonderful locations, package and great rates. Plus the Hotel is right on the Ocean, they have a marina that you can walk for hours. And they have great spa packages, only 150$ Can. For both of you. Check it out, you will not be sorry.
Have fun on the honeymoon!!!
