Personally, if I were you, I wouldn`t take the chance. Just my opinion though....especially if you are going to spend a good bit of money! You are better off spending your $$$ with someone either local or a well trusted source!

I don`t want to bash anyone but i don`t trust them only because they changed their ebay account/ID 3 times now, and that to me seems fishy...

We have dozens upon dozens of references we are happy to provide, actual email addresses of customers who have bought custom made designer duplicates and are very pleased. We only switched from a personal to a business Ebay account. Our website is always the same and so is our contact information, which we are happy to provide.

Well it`s hard to trust a person who opened a new account on 11/1 on ebay and an even newer account on 11/7 and they both belong to Stephanie.
I`m sorry but paypal does not have a protection policy that extends to 10 weeks, its only 30 or 60 days max.
I personally was interested in purchasing a gown, but I just cant trust a seller who needs to change ebay id`s every week.
With so many internet scams this does not make for a trusting relationship.

If you had had a bad experience with them and possibly lost money I could better understand your concern. 101 Message Board is designed to enable brides to obtain information that they need. Making guesses without complete facts is not very reliable and should not be thought of as truth. Cold hard facts from personal experience stands a lot taller than theories and suppositions.

Sorry to say, but I have read several horror stories on this board, that it doesn`t take a rocket scientist to come to a conclusion. The fact is that if you have to pay a vendor through a PayPal account, it is probably NOT a reputable vendor. If you cannot pay for something as major as a wedding dress, which in many cases costs more than one or two weeks worth of pay, directly with a credit card, it reeks of a scam. And the reason for that is exactly what Angie stated.....PayPal will only offer protection for 30-60 days, and it generally takes more time than that to order a dress. When you use a Visa, MasterCard or American Express, you have a longer time frame should there be an issue with your order. These `fly-by-night` people know that and get around it by requesting payment by PayPal. Use your common sense and you won`t get taken.

Just to let everyone know my story... In July I found a dress that I liked on Stephanie’s ebay site. I contacted her to find out if changes could be made to the basic design. She immediately responded and we corresponded for about a week until I was happy with the style. In the meantime she gave me several references who had ordered dresses from her previously. I spoke to some brides who ordered a dress that she had listed and some who had had changes made to the design of a dress that was listed, all were very pleased with Stephanie’s quality of work and her communication throughout the process. After ordering Stephanie kept me updated as to the progress of the dress and when it was shipped she sent a tracking number so that I could know exactly when it would be delivered. The dress took precisely 10 weeks, as she said it would, and when it arrived I was overjoyed at the result. The dress was more beautiful than I imagined. The material was stunning, the embroidery was beautiful and the design changes were exactly as I specified. The quality of work was wonderful in that the entire bodice was boned, there was a crinoline built in and the whole dress was lined. I was so impressed with this dress that I contacted several other brides-to-be to let them know about Beautiful Bride. I wanted to share the news because I know how hard it is to find a good dress for a good price from an honest vendor. Up until discovering Beautiful Bride I spent almost a year looking for the perfect gown. I tried on several designer gowns in boutiques but I was not prepared to spend upwards of $5,000 for a gown that did not possess ALL the qualities of my dream dress. I have recently found another dress design that I love and I plan on asking Stephanie to make this one as well. I can do this because I saved a considerable amount of money and I am now able to spend on two gowns what I would have on one used designer dress. If you are considering and would like to see how beautiful the gown I have is and how closely it resembles the original, I would be happy to send pictures. Cbtrine@yahoo.com
