Event Babysitting
Does anyone know of professional event babysitters? I`m having an adult-only wedding in southern orange county, california, in December and need a babysitter.

We had thought about having a sitter at our wedding. Our reception is at a hotel so we were going to rent a room and have a baby sitter. One idea is to ask some of the parents to have their normal sitters see if they would like to sit for a few hours. Most of them really wouldn`t mind. Since the parents would be paying a sitter anyways why not one that they already know?

You can to hire "sitters" for babies. Most babysitters are cpr trained. And they arn`t just little 15 year old girls. I have a few friends who have babysitters that are 20, 21 years old cpr trained and all. It is just doing your home work and if the parents trust them then it is better than hiering someone that they do not know at all

Too bad you aren`t in Colorado - there`s a professional company that offers the service that you are looking for. You can check out their website... Www.eventsitters.com.

I have recently started a babysitting service for weddings, events, etc. However I do not reside in your area. These services are starting to pop up in different cities so you should probably ask around, check the local yellow pages and even call the Better Business Bureau. Good Luck!! And make sure that when you do find someone to do the job they have lots and lots of patience!!
