Ok, I have been having the same problem lately, and I have realized that if you keep talking to him, and flirt a little bit at first, then he will probably grow to like you more and more, because he will feel good about someone flirting with him. Make sure you just keep having actual conversations with him. If you are shy, I know this sounds hard (I am super shy) but just think of it as talking to one of your best friends. Then you will probably be able to notice when he feels comfortable around you, and thats when you should walk with him from class to class, just talk about how nice or mean the teacher was or something. Trust me, this will so totally work! :)
