I Desperately Need Some Help For An Event

I am working on my first event for this company that I work for. I basically have to submit a plan for the event highlighting the details of the event, what kind of sponsors we are looking for, what their contribution needs to be, etc. I have never worked on an event before and have no idea what the plan should look like. I have looked everywhere on the net trying to find a sample plan that I could follow, but to no avail. Where can I find a sample plan? I am really desperate and would appreciate the help.
