Who Should Offciate At My Wedding?

I have a big problem on who should officiate at my April 2002 wedding. I have asked my brother to do it, but my fiances` family disagrees. My brother is not a minister but he has officiated at 2 other weddings, plus we aren`t getting married in a church. I also want someone that is close to me to officiate. Any suggestions? Congrats on YOUR upcoming wedding !!!
I think that if you want your brother to officiate YOUR ceremony it should be YOUR decision (and your FH).
Afterall, it is YOUR day !!!
I deal with alot of couples and it is really upsetting when other family members try to "plan" the couples wedding ...
Maybe your FH can speak to them.. Hope all works out for you !!!
