Alan, before you think of marriage, you should go back to school and learn how to spell.

Thanks for proving Lori wrong. Either you must have been dumped or your just ugly for all your rude comments. No wonder you have such anger through out the ENTIRE SITE... What a pity.

I agree with Cynthia, although it`s not necessary to be rude. But the point is well taken. How can a parent who cannot spell simple words help a child with homework? I`ve been in environments where one spouse was reading aloud, and I was mortified for the wife. What about the times when that person will need to write letters? What will they do? It is pitiful that an adult cannot express him/herself without it appearing to others they never went to school at all. Damn!

I agree with you Lisa, but Cynthia could`ve used a different tone in addressing the issue. I work at the bank and I have encountered some adults who could not even write out a check because they cannot spell! That is really annoying! I mean, how can they handle their finances or simply "get around" while being so illiterate? I am not saying that Alan is dumb, but just uneducated.

There are people who come on these boards and deliberately make grammar and spelling errors trying to be funny. I hope this is one of them. If not, before you get married Alan, since you are looking for sponsors, then the money you would have spent should go to pay a good tutor. I agree with Cynthia, whether others think she was rude or not, it was true. I agree with the other post, too. Who wants to marry an idiot? How can he write a letter to the school explaining why the child had to miss school? What then? What a total embarrassment. If your "soulmate" really cares for you, she would do what she could to ensure you get the education you desperately need. Personally, I would not want someone illiterate for a husband. Life is hard enough without that added challenge. We all know this is the real world and in the real world, her friends will laugh at her behind her back for marrying an idiot and talk about her, too. With those kind of errors in his post, personally, I think it`s a hoax anyway, as I wouldn`t expect him to be smart enough to find his way to these boards to ask for help. Find something better to do with your time, Alan....like hire a tutor if you really need one.

You all are horrible.....this guy comes to this board and nobody even addresses his problem just makes fun of him. You all need counseling you have anger problems! Well Alan I cannot help with sponsering you since I am trying to plan a wedding myself but I wish you all the luck on your upcoming wedding. Don`t listen to the others they are just bullies because they are trying to cover their insecurities. Oh and girls come on now grow up. Would you make fun of your daughter or son if they were having problems spelling some words or reading or something. I would hope not!
