Need Help With Candles...

My wedding will be May of 2005 and the reception is from 4:00 to 8:00, in a banquet hall with large windows that will be open because there is a balcany for the guests to go out on. By 8:00 it will just barly be dusk. Does any one think it will be strange if I have candles on my tables?
Any help will be great!
Thanks

I think candles look beautiful no matter what. I don`t think you have to worry about it at all. It sounds like it`ll be lovely

OK...I definitely agree that candles would be beautiful. I got married this year and my sister and I came up with a pretty cool, personalized idea for some candle decor.
You know those photos you can have taken in those old Photo Booths? Well, my my husband and I had several strips of those taken. I copied the strips of photos (which were black and white) onto velum paper, which u can find at any craft store.
Then I bought 3 inch wide candles (they can be as tall as you`d like though) and we wrapped the velum with our pictures copied on them around the candle. I used double-sided tape and put a cute ribbon around the whole thing.
The candles just lit up out faces and showed our personality to our guests. Some of the pictures were pretty funny. And it`s safe...the velum melts right along with the candle.
And it`s cheap...the whole project was about $20, with every table having a candle.

When i was looking for candles I found there were a lot of people selling them in bulk on ebay. Also there`s a site called oriental express that sometimes has good deals on random things.
