Budget Advice

Have a small intimate wedding at home with family cooking and little to no alcohol.

Dress- if you dont have one already, you could check ebay to find an inexpensive dress or you could purchase a nice white or ivory dress/ suit from a department store.. I have seen girls wear white prom-like dresses as wedding dresses

Flowers- use seasonal flowers that can be found at walmart/ sams etc and arrange them yourself. Tie them off with some ribbon from the craft section.

Location- have the wedding at a friend or family`s home or a local park. Also, universities often offer their grounds (outdoors only) for free.

Food - Ask family to cook for the reception . This will save LOTS. Check with the walmart bakery for your cake(s).

Pictures- This one is important. I would suggest you search for a student photographer. Students often make really great photos. Or you could ask the most talented family member to take them. Or check the web for inexpensive photogs.
