Renewal

Hi

My husband and I have been married for 10 months now. Our families were bothered that we did not have a big wedding ceremony. We quietly went on a cruise and did the package deal .... Honeymoon and wedding in one! So tell me, is it benign to have a renewal ceremony so soon? Email me at plighten@jam.rr.com

My husband and I have been married since last December and we`re planning a wedding for next July. We had to rush our wedding plans (he was told he would be deployed to Iraq then after we got married he found out he wasn`t going) so we didn`t have time to plan a traditional wedding. Now that things have calmed down a bit for us, we`re planning a big celebration for everyone. I don`t think its tacky, I think most of my friends were hurt not being able to attend the wedding, and now they`re happy to be included in a big celebration.

Hi. I am in the same boat! My husband is also deployed, and we married in a city hall. We are having ours next Dec.

CONGRATS! and it`s not tacky

My daughter and her husband married quickly because of his deployment. We are having a reception for them when he gets back. So technically they would have been married 16 months.

It seems as if there is so many of "us" but it is so common, and I have never been happier. We have been married for 7 months now. I wouldn`t have had it any other way. The only thing is, do we have our renewal in Dec of 05 or March of 06?
