Guest Have To Pay
Boy am I glad that I have great friends! Turns out that people completely understood our situation. They have known us for yearsand they were more than happy to pay their own way just to come and join Mark and I celebrate this long coming, joyous occasion. You people sound a little bit shallow!

They are shallow?!? YOU are the ignorant one inviting people to your wedding and having them pay their way! YOU are the one who asked a question and these people cared about your situation enough to give you advice. Mika had the best idea to serve appetizers and drinks and Fran had a great idea to go to a local buffet place that is reasonable so that you can pay for it yourself. You have big nerve to call people shallow and you are beyond that sweetie. I pray that Mark and you have a great life. Will you collect money during the wedding? Tell them since they are paying their way to put your kids through college? Boy is your wedding starting off on a wrong foot. Read the etiquette books lady. Your family must be mortified for you. 2 poor people getting married. Where will you live? In a trailer park in Alabama? Red neck!
