Beware Of Online Buying, Please Ladies!!

There is no question that you take a risk buying online from people--but the best thing I have learned is to use a service like Paypal and ALWAYS use a credit card, never wire someone money or send them money order. This way you can at least file a fraud claim with either/both paypal and your credit card company. Be careful but don`t reject the idea of buying from an individual out of hand---I love craigslist and ebay and forums like this--it has made buying and selling both available to a lot of people.

You`re right, Elle. Lucky for me, I used Paypal and was able to get my money back. I`ll be a lot more careful next time, that`s for sure!

This is so true with any company. A full service bridal salon will offeryou all of the services a designer has to offer as well. Online stores suck I found! I bought a Casablanca bridal gown from a website and now the alterations on this dress cost more than the dress did. Thank god for honest brick and mortar businesses/ business people though. One of the businesses that post on this website were able to help me replace the dress for the same cost, but we did custom measurements. Now all they are doing is a bustle on the dress. Post here if any of you would like more information on this wonderful woman. I will be more than happy to supply you with referral information to her salon in Chicago, she also helps brides on this website, this is where I found her and she helped me in my desperate time. I have already refered a couple of my friends to her, and will keep doing so.
