Engagement Party
I'm having my engagement party in a few weeks. It's going to be a bbq at a park. Everyone already knows about the engagement, and I'm expecting 75 people to attend(mostly family and close friends). I have been searching for ideas to make the occassion even better, such as games for couples to play, decorations, or anything else to make people interact and enjoy themselves. There are alot of things you can do with your engagement party depending on how casual/informal you want to go. You can have alot of fun by having a water balloon tossing contest and/or an egg tossing contest and have some fun prizes for the winners like bottles of wine, candy or cookie baskets and more. Something different: a poem of any length written about you and your fiance. After sending in characteristics and quirks of both of you, I write a rhymed verse about it all -- funny, silly, or just sentimental. Since everyone knows you both well, they might get a kick out of it!
