I`ve heard bad things about Lynne & Trish`s formals - this just goes to show BUYER BEWARE and trust NO ONE....... (or trust your gut feeling - but make sure they have a guarentee to get your money back if you`re not happy.....)

You should look at all the previous messages about you & Lynne - it`s been going on for weeks. I`m not saying anything against you - just that I saw bad posts about you. I can`t help what other people are saying....you should be talking to them - not me.

I do read the posts and have never seen anything like this. A matter of fact I have people tell me they hear good things. Please direct me to these posts. There has been stuff about Melody and Lynne, I have never seen anything about me.

I have seen good things about Lynne too. So who`s to be trusted....? This leads me back to where I started -

What this forum is turning into is a he-said-she-said nightmare. (For exapmle, who is this CP who started this string about Lynne?) The fact that anyone can post and not even reveal their real identity is leading innocent brides into an arena of uncertainty and questionable practices by a few bad apples. [*I am not calling anyone on this string a bad apple*]

It is a shame that a few can ruin it for the many. I`m sure most of the people who post on here are legit - but the few have turned the rest on each other & now brides can`t have the confidence they should be able to have using this listserv.

I`m glad that the transaction I had (I bought a gown) did work out but it sounds like quite a few haven`t lately. All I can say is that even though my transaction did work, I`m not recommending this site to any of my fellow brides because I don`t want them to have to sort through all this mess of who`s legit & who`s not & accusations & implications flying all over the place.....

I agree, IMO this site is not monitored highly enough and I think there are too many people who don`t take this stuff seriously and are just here to pester other people or otherwise ruin people`s days. It`s too focused on the vendors trying to sell their products. There are other wedding sites that are much more productive (if that`s the word I`m looking for, but you know what I mean). If that gets me kicked off this site, then so be it!

Well, just to let everyone know, I did not get my gown. I did, however, get my money back! My pride and feelings are hurt that someone would do these things to brides. Tromig, I`m starting to wonder if you aren`t Melody with a different name because you the ONLY person who`s ever gotten their gown.

Post: I`ve used Lynne - and I got my dress..... No problems at all!

Question: If you got your dress with no problems why are you telling brides to beware????
If you heard bad things about a business why did you buy your gown from them?

Tromig stop falsely posting! It`s people like you who ruin online shopping.

Dear Onlooker - what crap you are slinging! Maybe should take a good look at yourself before you start saying shuch ****. I work in computer security as a profressional and know how to trace IP addrresses - and have seen your real identity. Maybe you should do the same before you start making false accusations. Since now I know who you are.... Maybe you should show your true identity to everyone else too instead of hiding behind "Onlooker" like a coward......

To answer your crap accusation - I got my gown from Lynne - even if it arrived a week late. What I`m trying to tell other brides is this: Beware & do your research BEFORE you buy. You never can tell who you`re working with if they`re hiding behind an alias (this means YOU "Onlooker")

I sent Lynne my money & then started seeing posts about what a scam she was. I saw many others saying she was a scam & suddenly I thought I was out $500. I was in tears for a day until I heard from her reassuring me that it was on the way. It did finally arrive. But - the panic I felt has made me decide to never try this again because it`s not worth the uncertainity and grief to get a gown I could have bought from a bridal store.

You people who are only inciting others have just reassured me to tell others to avoid this site like the plague. I would never want anyone to have to deal with you people who`s only intentions are to cause others grief & not to help solve the situation.

Good ridance!

Tromig-
You may be trying to help brides, but your posts have lost all credibility. Slandering a business who has done nothing but help brides is basically putting you in the same boat as Lynne. There are no negative posts about any of these business(s) other than Lynne`s. People like you are the ones who make this web board look like smoke in mirrors! Look up my IP address if you want, I`m just a bride who has been on this board a few weeks trying to make sense of all of this.

Ladies, I was about to go with Lynne a few weeks ago until I saw you post about her. It then made me reconsider and do some research. THANK YOU! However disheartening it may be, it is up to you to police this board! Please keep innocent brides who come to this site for the first time aware of this nasty vender!! All you have to say is do your reaearch because you can simply do a search for her name on google or on the knot and find out what she`s done to others.

Thanks for your help!!

You can trace the IP from where you are?? I do not believe that for one second!! Because if you could, that means you would have to brake into oartypop.com!

A.....I hate to burst your bubble, but it doesn`t take a rocket scientist to trace an IP number, and you don`t have to be in any specific site to do it. You should get your information straight before you respond.
