Lunch? I don`t think you have to take her out for lunch. A gift and a nice thank you letter after the shower is perfectly sufficient.

I mean, you can take her to lunch if you want to... That would be nice. But I just don`t agree with the Lindas before me (there`s a lot of us lately lol) that that`s a must do.

I would do SOMETHING for her as a thank you...either taking her out to lunch OR a gift OR sending her flowers the day after..that is always a nice gesture :0)

It depends, are you the bride, then yes you do gift her a gift of thanks for her hosting the shower because she is paying for it and you want her to know that you appreciate all of her work. As for a gift and lunch, that is not necessary. You can do one or the other unless you want to do both.
