Rings For Renaissance Theme Wedding

My fiancee and I have decided on a Renaissance theme for our wedding and we would love to find wedding bands to compliment the theme. Does any one know of some sources for a couple on a budget?

Thanks in advance

Yes. Check out the Wedding Ring King (www.weddingringking.com). They have a fantastic selection of many styles at great prices. My husband and I found our rings for our wedding last June.

Take a look at raru.com. They have a selection of rings designed to compliment a variety of wedding themes featured on PartyPOP.com. They are very nice. Take a look at the "Royalty" theme ring.

Happy shopping

A friend of mine is getting married and she sent out the best invitations, they were scrolls. I asked her where she got them and she told me they came from: Compassionate Expression(www.compassionatexpression.com). I took a look at the site and they have either blank "messenger" scrolls or Hand Caligraphy scrolls (formatted as guest registry). They also have a choice of decorative scroll knobs in crystal, spiral, wooden blossom and my favorite, Renaissance. This would be a perfect place to get your invitations (if you haven't already gotten them).

Hi,
I want to tell you all about an old wedding tradition a friend of mine is incorporating in her wedding thanks to a company called By Judy. Below is text copied directly from the web page (www.ontheline.com/sixpence)

"This famous old good luck wedding tradition was never completely followed in America since we did not use a sixpence in our currency. But now, the promise of a lifetime of joy, happiness, and good fortune for the bride can be fulfilled with the addition of a genuine English sixpence coin for her "shoe."

This imported English coin is no longer being minted, nor is it even in circulation, making it a very special keepsake. Moms, aunts or friends can give the bride a coin from the year of their own wedding, wishing her the same long life of togetherness that truly represents the bonds of matrimony. Coins can be selected from 1953 through 1967. It may also be the "something borrowed" if it is loaned to friends or when starting a family tradition.

Perfect for framing, the 5x7 card to which the coin is attached, has side panels which can later be folded to the back, keeping forever a record of the bridal party and the personal wishes of the sender, or as a permanent record of the brides who use the lucky sixpence. "

This tradition would be perfect for a Renaissance wedding or really any wedding. They would make great favors as well.

I hate to give you even more choices, but I found the most beautiful celtic engagement ring for my fiancee at Celtic Jewlery.com (celticjewelry.com). She loved it so much we are getting our wedding bands made by them.

Here's a great idea for a Renaissance wedding: Check out Waxent (www.waxent.com). They make colored, scented imitation wax seals molded out of durable plastic with your initial, standard or custom design on it. They are ready to use and will adhere to any surface using the included self-adhesive dot. Standard designs include crown, fleur-de-lis, celtic, and a rose. The antique gold and silver are traditional for invitations, documents or envelopes though they do have other colors to choose from. I used them to seal the scroll invitations I made for my best friend's bridal shower and everyone kept asking me where I had gotten such cool invitations.
