Body Type = Wedding Dress Style

I`m looking for my wedding dress currently. I had my heart set on a ball gown/or a-line with petty coat, b/c I think it looks very elegant and grand. However, I`m short, a little busty, medium size build so these dresses don`t look the way I`d like them to on me...are there dresses that are more well-suited for someone of my build type?

Do I need to sacrifice what my "ideal wedding dress" was suppose to be b/c I`m not the ideal height for a ball-gown.

BTW, what I had in mind (if anyone has seen the Mouline Rouge movie...Nicole Kidman`s "red dress" she wearing it when she`s singing on top of the elephant...if anyone knows what I`m talking about, I think that`s a beautiful dress/style and would look pretty in white. Anyone know of a dress/design similar to that??
