Who Gets Invitations?
Obviously our parents and wedding party will be there! But we still send them an invite like everyone else right?
Just double checking!

Absolutely, if not only the reason of they will have it for a memory ! We didn`t send my parents one though because my Mom address them all, she just kept one for herself !

Just as the previous posts indicate, it is proper etiquette to send them one as well. Also, don`t forget to send your officiant/priest/minister one as well. People to tend to forget this most important person!

But we`re not inviting the officiant to our reception. Are we supposed to?
Do we just send them the ceremony invitation?

Hmmm...In that case, do not include a reception card in his/her invitation. Just for my curiosity, why are you not inviting your officiant? (Believe me, I am not judging! Just curious)

I just never thought of inviting them and we`re having a very very small wedding.

I wouldn`t call my Pastor my personal friend but he was my Pastor growing up. We did send him and his wife an invitation and they attended. He did the prayer before we ate. I originally didn`t think of them either but someone mentioned it to me, and now I am so glad we did.

We just met out officiant when we chose our wedding site. So while they are performing our ceremony which is very special to us, they`re not necessarily a special friend.
