Inlaws 50th Wedding Song

We just did this for our own parents in Jan 2004. My DAD told me he wanted the song " Lost in the 50`s Tonight" by Ronnie Milsaps...(they met and then married in 1954) as his pick. Several songs were sung throughout the evenings events as we opened this up to our entire family and friends that wanted to sing. We actually had someone bring a guitar, sing to them directly, and we copied the song my DAD requested on a CD. We then covered it with a midnight blue and purple 50`s cover with their original Wedding picture on one side and the 50th Wedding picture on the opposite side. We gave the CD to everyone as a gift to take with them. My DAD who had just went into remission from Cancer at 71 smiled and glowed through the whole night as if he were on cloud nine. You would have thought Ronnie Milsaps made a public appearance. Our family and friends will never forget the "Love" emulating from my parents during that one song.
