How Do Ya Do A Pompadoure!

I go to a place here on long island called Rockabilly barbers. An i always ask fo rthe pompadoure but when i get home i cant style it for the life of me. I got it a few times but it takes me hours an alot of pomade. I just cant seem to get it. I was wondering if any of you know what to do an can help me. I would really appreciate it.
