Twister

Hi all..
I was just searching for some reception ideas from google..and it sent me here. I think you gals had some really good ideas. (especially the old-wed game..I might just steal that one!)
I think the twister suggestion was just a joke..I mean, I don't think anyone would actually do that, but as Leah said it WOULD be funny as hell to see.
(still not happening at MY recetption)

My family is very sentimental. When my sister Amy got married, they had a pot-luck sort of thing with tons of food, (because the wedding was at noon and went until late evening)
Then while people were eating their food and cake, the parents of both the bride and groom gave toasts with a twist, they told (somewhat embarassing,but MOSTLY) HILLARIOUS stories from Amy and Steven's childhood..some that even I didn't know. They also had pictures, a group singalong (with hymnals for the guests to read from loaned from the church) and a dance, but even today, everyone talks about the funny stories told by the parents. (and amy blowing out the Unity candle..but that's a different story completely lol)

Just an idea. Hope everyone's wedding goes well..
