Planning A College Jr/Sr

Hello my name is Nicole and I am working on planning my college's Jr/Sr which is to be held April 2002. I am currently looking for ideas for decorations that will make the ballroom look extremely classy. The ballroom already contains large white pillars around the outside and numerous gold chandleers. I am also seraching for favors other than the usual picture frame, candle, or wine glass/beer stine. If anyone has any ideas please let me know! Thanks.
