Autumn Wedding

Here is what I plan to do for the centerpieces- order calle lilies or roses that range in color from cream, orange, red, wine to chocolate. A sample can be seen under the bulk section of www.flowerbud.com (http://www.flowerbud.com/images/flowers/Callas_mini_bulk.jpg).
Small aspen or maple branches will be included in the arrangement. Then spread maple or aspen leaves of varying color around the arrangment and put votives all around (good deals on www.cudge.net).
On top of the leaves, I am going to put red and amber flat glass gems to reflect some of the light from the votives.
I would love some more ideas to give the decor some pop so please keep posting!

I am also having a fall wedding and i have come up with lots of ideas for it...
*For my centerpieces i am using metal rustic looking pailos filled with water around the bottom outside i am using autumn flowers and floating in the pail are leaf shaped candles...it really looks elegant.
*for my favors i bought candy molds and made autumn leaf shaped candies in autumn colors, then i bought boxes online and will put them in there. I also made candles with autumn scents and gift boxed those.
I hope some of these ideas help!

I think you can have a formal look for autumn without the pumpkins. I am not a big fan of the multicolor corn that is also featured, either.
The use of the tall silverplated flower towers can be made into a fall look by the design materials that you put inside. Choosing fall leaves and autumn colors for flowers will complete the look.

This message board is great. I am also getting married in October 2005. My fiance and I are planning a simple and fairly inexpensive wedding. Neither of us into a fancy, big, overblown ceremony/reception. I thought I would share some
Of my ideas if anyone else is taking the simple inexpensive
Route. My sister, who is my maid of honor is going to help by making/finding materials to make center pieces, she`s really crafty. I`m going get a wedding cake, and some other food for the reception at a local grocery store. I may get some sub sandwiches from subway to go along with the store items, like veggie and meat trays for the guests to eat before cake and drinks. Instead of having a guest book, my fiance and I are going to have a picture of us and get it matted and have the guests sign their names on the mat when they come to the reception. I also found an idea for thank-you notes, we`re going to have pictures of all the guests taken as they come to the reception and then we will sign and date them and send them as thank-you notes. Instead of throwing rice, or having butterfies, or bubbles, all the typical ideas, I want to have bags of balloons from the store at each table at the
Reception, and just before it ends I want the guest to blow them up, or I might do them all before, I don`t know, and have the guest release the balloons as my fiance and I leave the reception. I`m going to rent my wedding dress instead of making one or buying one, I`ve heard that`s a way to save some money. Those are my ideas as far as money goes. I had a couple other ideas as far as the ceremony and reception go. I am going to have both my parents walk me down the isle, I feel like they are both giving me to my future husband. At the ceremony I am going to have a kids table with things for them to do so they aren`t bored if they come to the reception. My fiance and I don`t like the bouqet/garter toss, so instead all the single girls are going to get a flower so that the girls feel like they aren`t left out or like they don`t
Get something. I haven`t figured out anything for the single guys, or how to work them into the equation. That`s pretty much all my ideas at this point, I`m still looking for more though! I just thought I would share, maybe see what people think, if they might do something similiar or something.

I am planning an October 22, 2005 wedding and am having trouble finding colors and how I would like to decorate. I have a limited budget but want something elegant, I don`t want the pumpkin, leaf theme, I was thinking burgandy, champagne colors but I really dont` know. Any help would be appreciated!
