Has Anyone Made Their Own Tiara?

I have never made my own, but my sister in law did. It wasn`t quite a tiera, but she found a beautiful silver & rhinestone chain bracelet and un latched it and stuck a hair comb to it with wire. It was the crown piece to her vail, but she didn`t have to spend hundreds of dollars on it. Maybe you could do something similar without the vail part. Goodluck

There`s a very popular book called "I Do Veils-so Can You" that teaches you how to made veils and bridal headpieces. You can pick it up at any online bookstore. Even Amazon.com carries it. I can see making your own headpiece if you`re going for a unique look. However, if you`re trying to save money, it`s cheaper to buy a tiara and veil. You can easily get a tiara for under $20. You can also find a plain veil for under $15.
