Table Arrangements Ideas.
Okay girls, I am all about decorations and doing it cheap so I am going to pass along some of my own ideas and things I have seen.
At Wal-mart they have for 97 cents this heart shape candy bowl dish things. They are perfect for the middle of tables. Purchase how ever many you need and feel each bowl up with water. If you wanted to get technical you could take and put some food coloring in with the water to have different color water. Buy some floating candles which you can find at a Dollar Tree or the Dollar store and there you go. You can also take and put marbles or colored rocks in your water. Spreading confetti around the heart shape bowl is a neat idea.
I have also seen people take fish bowls and fill with water and buy some gold fish and put on in each glass. You can give them away at the end of the night to kids at the recpetion. The bowls are 97 cents at Wal-mart and the feeder goldfish at pet stores and Wal-marts are like 20 cents a piece.
Be creative at receptions. A wedding is suppose to be romantic so if you can turn the lights out and have christmas lights around the food tables or candles it helps with decoratiions.
If anyone else has information or ways to decorate please let me know.

We had a very hard time trying to figure out what to do for centerpieces. Our colors were lavender, pink, and ivory. We asked the florist who made the bouquets to also order enough of the same flowers, loose, to do our own centerpieces.
I don`t know where I saw the idea, but I remembered seeing everyday home items used as flower vases, water pitchers, watering cans, teapots and cups....and so on. So we used teapots. You can buy all of one color or size if you want. But we did a few months of hunting in thrift shops, yard sales, estate sales and so on to find the 15 perfect tea pots. Most of them were nearly the same size and the 2 that were small we used on the kids tables. And most were $1 or less.
The tea pots went over much better than i thought. I had people begging me to take one or 2 home with them. Out of 20 total, I went home with 2 and that was becasue I hid them.
We found very nice and cheap ivory doilles, sprinkled butterfly shaped silk petals underneath and added the tea pots. It really looked great. And it gave people something to talk about and a reason to mingle as they wanted to see the pots on other tables.
