Any Suggestions For A Non-Religious Cermony?
My fiance and I are not religious. We would like to have a ceremony that omits any reference to any type of religion. I`ve worked out an officiant, but I am looking for suggestions on vows. My fiancee would very much like me to write my own and this makes me nervous...very nervous, but I`m willing to do it for him as it is the part he wants most.
Does anyone have experience with this?

I felt the same way you and your fiance do. I wanted absolutely no reference to the lord, spirits, jesus, or God. We used a service that has many officiants, so we met with the owner and did alot of copy and paste until we got exactly what we wanted. I am not allowed to post web sites here, I am tired of them suspending me from posting, but if you email me I will give the web site that has sample vows and ceremony readings. They give you 5 free ones to look at, DO NOT buy the $8 subscription, the rest all are very religious. Also go to your Library and check out Kahlil Gibran, The Prophet. It was invaluable to use for picking passages.
