Wedding Cake Decorating Class
Hi All,
I`m hoping that someone can help me. I live in York PA and I`m looking for a wedding cake decorating class. Does anyone know of anything in this area or even around Baltimore MD? I`ve been searching the internet like crazy and can`t find anything. I`ll drive up to an hour. If anyone can help I`d appreciate it. Thanks. Sherry

Hi, Sherry,
I just saw your message. After you take the initial Wilton classes (levels 1-3), one of the greatest resources/treasures you will ever find is your local chapter of ICES (International Cake Exploration Societe, I believe)--they`re on the web under www.ices.org. There is a local chapter; you can find people in and around York by contacting Heidi at shoentube@bellatlantic.net. At every meeting you will learn something new about cake decorating/sugar art. These people are UNBELIEVEABLE artists,--some are hobbyists, some are decorating as a business, but they are very, very willing to share their knowledge. You will also be able to network and find MANY teachers for anything you want to know.

If there is a Michael`s craft store near you they usually have cake decorating courses.
