Exchange Roses Instead Of Unity Candle

I just heard about a great new idea for the wedding ceremony: Instead of lighting a unity candle the couple exchanges red roses as a symbol of love and unity.

Great idea, but instead of a real rose what about a rose that lasts for ever. Check out Desert Sands (www.desertsands.giftworldnet.com) beautiful sculptured glass roses. The leaves and bud are accented in gold plating.

How beautiful. If you are looking for more glass roses take a look at Lyman's Glass Sculptures (www.leolymans.com). They have a long stem rose bud and a beautiful iridescent large table rose with a engraved tag and gold accents. The second one may be better suited for a centerpiece for the head table. Take a look it is really stunning.

A friend of mine did this in her wedding with real roses--I like the idea of glass roses. I took a look at the site, they are really beautiful.
