Flower Question... Please Help

Ok.. Now I have come to a decision on flowers.. I am debating fake or real.. But now that I have sat & thought about it.. I am actually considering just doing a single flower for the bridesmaids.. And then a bouquet for me.. Does anyone know where I can see pics or ideas of what flowers to use as a single flower for them to carry???? Does anyone have an opinion of which is a better idea???

Thanks

Any flower of substance would be really nice as a single flower, I`ve seen people do this with cala lillies which looks beautiful. I also think a single sunflower would look really nice if it would go with the color/style of their dresses. Another idea to save money and still have something nice is to give them a small bunch of inexpensive flowers such as daisies, or even blue delphineums aren`t that expensive, you can buy flowers online from wholesalers and then just tie them together with ribbon. Try googling marisol blooms for one online seller. Good luck!

Hi Megan,

A small bunch of flowers with the stems wrapped in ribbon makes a nice bouquet for the bridesmaids and you could have the same kind of flowers but more of them. I used silk roses as centerpieces for the tables for my daughters August wedding last month. Everyone thought they were real. The florist made the bouquets to match and just tied them with ribbon.

Hello and Congrats!!!

Well my wedding is in November and my bridesmaids will also be carring one single flower. I chose to use the Cally Lilly. It is such a beautiful flower and if you don`t want white they come in many colors. I was a bridesmaid a couple of yaers ago for a freind of mine and we also carried a single rose it was very elegant and the pictures were wonderful. It all depends on your taste and your bridesmaids will pretty much go along with whatever you put them in after all they are you picks.

Hope it goes well for you I know what a headache your going through right now.

Hi
I don`t really know flowers too well so I couldn`t suggest just one to carry, but I can offer an opinion on the fake vs. Real debate.
I had thought I wanted real and was really disappointed when my mom took me to get fake ones at the Hobby Lobby, but the lady walked all around the flowers with me until we had the perfect combination of colors and textures that I liked. She listened to what I liked and disliked and made the Perfect bouquet for me and two smaller ones for my bridesmaids.... And it was all for the cost the florist would`ve charged us for just my bouquet.
The flowers look amazing and now I can keep them. I definately vote for fake...plus if you`re doing your own decorating you can get matching flowers for the decorations. :)
